Mark Hunt is one of my all time fav fighters. I got tired from merely watching this I can't imagine the cardio it takes to fight this long at that weight
These guys were moving like lightweights in that first rd, great stuff, obviously the fact these guys are almost 300 pounds means that them gassing was sadly inevitable.
i am glad Rogan mentioned Mark's tactic to change speed. That serves multiple purposes, including conservation of gas. Hunt is so deceptively explosive. I would be the same if i fought. i am small, but that doesnt mean i have to be a blur of speed. bide your time and explode.

That last head kick when Ben bent over to breathe. Mark COULD have taken his head off his neck but instead went all peek-a-boo. He could have launched him into the air with his uppercut. He's lifted many fighters into the air with his uppercut in the past

@@smr4712lesnar would own hunt everytime. let's be real here as good as hunt might have been to many he was never near lesnar's league. lesnar won the ufc championship in his second fight. is a much better ground fighter and much more agile than hunt was.

I was more annoyed in the first when Rothwell held onto Hunt's shorts, and the ref said nothing. Is that legal? I don't think so. I don't recognize that ref. He was probably canned after this.
Mark Hunt has no neck - the only thing you can do is a.) also have no neck and try and toe to toe, or b.) cause pain - kidneys legs etc. you aren't surprising or shocking his frame.
It wasn't hard to beat Overeem who didnt knew how to fight without steroids until few years ago, this older (but better) Overeem would easily beat this or that Rothwell

I don't think he's much worse than what they do now. I swear it's like every fight now is being called by the male version of The View. UFC commentary is freaking awful. They all go into podcast mode, and have no idea about the moment. Anybody can say OOOOH on a big hit, and that's about all they are offering is soundboard noises for the highlight reels.
