14X32 "Thrifty 1"-1 Bedroom Tiny Home  

It's nice but the living area is so small and with that bathroom door taking up valuable wall space it should be in the hallway or in the bedroom with the laundry tied into that bathroom space as well. I wouldn't want the washer and dryer next to my bed. And it is nice to see something that isn't all grey with grey vinyl flooring which seems to be way overdone these days. I like the kitchen area but a dishwasher is definitely a necessity, even it is just a drawer style or an 18 in. wide model in the island. The living area needs to be at least two feet wider. You are right about the r.v. situation, I am seeing so many of them being sold right now just in the last month or so.. so much for that great booming economy being drilled into our conscience by the media!

The majority of people interested in tiny homes that are paying 70-80 grand are looking for quality. They are trying to get away from mobile home board and batten. We are not looking for traditional cheap living. Show us the same house with drywall. Real tile showers or ceramic tubs with real tile. you have an advantage over tiny home makers. You can give a variety of choices and you can also move windows, flooring and floor plans. People want to be in control of their purchases. You want to stop being stomped by the tiny house movement...be creative. this isnt it. Stainless steel appliances are nice but if you went back to regular appliances and offered the drywall ceramic tile wood floors you'd get more interest. The younger crowd seems to be impressed by walk in pantries too...not me of course. I like a nice utility room...not a w/d combo shoved in a hallway like most tiny models. But I am still leaning towards tiny homes because of the real wood...good luck. I have always been a fan of mobile homes. Love them. Talk to your manufacturers. You need to push the design your own home agenda more. People don't realize how flexible a mobile home can be.

Nice affordable tiny or cabin home. I think that the two side doors need to be swapped: for ease of normal ingress/egress the door by the kitchen should be the right opening door, and the door by the bathroom/bedroom needs to be the left opening door. Easy fix. For anyone picking on some of the economy feature choices - go ahead and upgrade!

Can the island move or be smaller? Or option to not have?

Nice kitchen the only thing that I would like is a pocket door for the bathroom, it would free up some space in the living room and yes the two doors entrance with one slider would be cool!
