I have poor range of motion on my left arm/elbow/shoulder due to an injury/surgery. Can I still get a benefit if I currently can’t do the movements exactly as shown?
Absolutely! Whatever your max range of motion is will have just as much benefit to your body. The intention is what matters most as well, do to your best of ability, and even modify the maneuvers if you need to, as the fascia releases your range of motion will adapt accordingly. Please check out our essential fascial maneuver sequences playlist and try the seated modifications and elbow maneuvers, let us know how it goes! ru-vid.com/group/PL6HV2prxhhV8y7xeEEHdjnm-t1wPTgIix
Seems this exercise that I surely going to try but I have a question when you do one size the head going to one direction if I do the other side is the head going to that direction? I couldn't understood that we'll I am confirming thank you so you are helping me a lot
I cried when I lifted my head up...Thank you for sharing this. I have been following you on Instagram and learn my great stories of people who do fascial maneuvers under your guidance. I will do it daily and note the results. ♥
The pursed lips "blowing yourself up like a balloon" breathing technique is also a great way to get rid of hiccups. Whenever I get hiccups, I can always get rid of them within 30 seconds using that technique and then holding my breath for awhile once I've breathed in as much as I can.
I’ve seen this in my recommended videos for awhile and yesterday it auto played right after a restorative yoga session I did… I gotta say the universe did me right! I’ve never done anything like this. It was quick, fun, truly something I’ve never done before and really made a difference in my day! I’m excited to subscribe and work through some of your other videos. Thank you for sharing yourself with the world 🙏
Wow! that had an amazing effect on my body mind. As an experienced yoga teacher of 30+ years with experience of other modalities, I actually do something similar which I have 'made up' myself. I will be wanting to learn more from you, thank you 🙏
Just did my first 15 minutes. Feel a bit of pain on my right side above the hip and also in my lower back after I was done but not during the class. So something has definitely been set in motion and my belly is talking loudly 😂 I will try this for a month and see what happens with my body. I read that this can help with skin conditions as well. This will be interesting to follow the progress. Thanks for sharing your knowledge. Everyone can heal themselves with a little help❤
So I have scoliosis. And let me tell you this is a game changer. I suffer from some trauma as well from childhood and things like that. I after doing this consistently only for two days. Today is my third day. My anxiety is less, I feel more loving, I feel more peaceful. Do not hesitate to do this TODAY.
I just tryed it & Im new to it so every day I’ll keep going see how I’m doing the breathe work it hard for me as I’m on oxygen but I can get thru it but a little at a time
Me too Idiopathic Scoliosis S-curve 45/35, and was in depression for so many years, also probably a result of childhood trauma -- I wasn't allowed my own body to myself... So.. it kept me "away" from my body and fear of being myself, yet this, plus meditation, workouts, music, rhythm thought, feeling, vibes, as well as nutrition. I'm beginning to come out about my transformation process on my other channel @lotuslovedreams starting with Instagram. What's your curve? We can heal it!
I would love this for all videos where we are following people facing us. Either have one person turn around so we can see them moving the same way we are. Or…when you say “take your right hand…” have everyone on screen using the left hand. So we are mirroring the movements. I get SO confused I usually end up giving up.
I would love if you could make more clear instructions! Each time I try to do these exercises I feel like you’re moving to fast and not the most clear on each instruction! Having them typed out on screen might be good for those of us who can’t understand him!
This is harder than it looks. I have trouble with my right arm so had to take breaks. By the time I was done with all 3 exercises, I felt energized and like I had a workout. I will continue doing these. Thank you
this is lovely .. and incorporated chakras and yoga and fascial manauever from what I can understand. Loved this and wish to do this for 28 days as suggested . looking forward to some good release !! Thank you so much! God bless !
Humble salutations from Norway !!!!!!!! Been doing this for 2-3 days two times a day now. YOU GUYS ARE AMAZING !!!!!!!! Im up for the 28 day challenge soon with the supplements. One Love from Norway
This is so interesting. I stumbled on a video of yours. I have been trying so many things to correct a right hip issue. For years I have noticed that I carry stress in my lower right abdomen. I could actually feel my body winding up as though a ‘shirt’ was being pulled and twisted on my lower right abdomen. My navel is clearly off center to the right. I will definitely do these.
that stretches really hit the spot ... ouch... sometimes adoptions take time.. and the shoulders for me... i think.. swinger ... and that routine.. minus palet swipe really does help a metrick ton.. since mark bells podcast with kidawski i got aware of it.. and i ocasionaly do it.. along with a ton of other stuff.. i think with how hard it is for me... i really gotta do em more... it really hits the spot.. interested to see how long it takes to finaly open up fully.. but yea its always great when an aria fully lets go of the issues and its always interesting to see how many issues u have and have beaten.. untill u beat em all.. ouch... thanks for sharing that.. but ouch is my fealing couse the body adopts.. it feals like work for my body and that shows me how well it works but yea thanks and all
Dear person reading this let's love one another in this world to beyond a gazillion times and beyond that and beyond that and beyond that and beyond that and beyond that!😀
This is very interesting! My energy is soaring now. So much more flow. My neck, however, objects to some of these movements, but I am guessing that this has more to do with my neck reacting with pain in response to many things. I carry a lot of tension there. Advice appreciated. Thank you!
This is SO impossible to follow!! Could you teach it so it’s mirror image still with right and left cues for us! I have to keep turning my back and looking over my shoulder to work out what’s crossed and what’s turning where!
To get started you can apply a daily practice of the 15 Minute Stress Reset, Organ Reset (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-EllzyeX5mWU.html) & mix in the the Full Body Class once you get familiar (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-aIKk7PSxc5k.html) If you are interested in diving deeper please go through our mini resets which lead up to the 28 Day Reset which is a free self paced program, join on our website www.humangarage.net
Waouh ! How interesting this is! Thank you so much for sharing! Although I speak English, I sometimes don't understand all the explanations. Would it be possible to have them in French? Thanks a lot!
I have a lower back pain often, when I did it the first time, the pain came back. Does doing it often strengthen my lower back and prevent it from happening again?
Strengthening my glute muscles really helped with my lower back problem as strong glutes help to support your posture. I'd say it's worth a try if you haven't done so already:)
When I am doing the twisting it hurts my lower back after. I’m pulling in my stomach like you say. Is it just that I’m not used to it & as I do it it will get better? Or am I not pulling in my stomach correctly
Hi, is this safe if I have osteothritis in my neck and hip, as well as disc injuries in my neck and back? have had fibromyalgia for 18 years and determined to heal my discs and my body :) I'm an ex dancer. thank you :)
Just trying this reset for the first time. I seem to have trouble keeping my balance when I cross my feet like in the video. Not sure how I can improve on it.
After weeks of dealing with injuries from a fall on my left side that caused me discomfort in my left leg when walking I came across your video. I’d been to a Chiro several times and also was using a Backnobber to release fascia in my neck and shoulders, did clamshell exercises because I thought it might be a tight periformis issue and after several weeks nothing was working. My left injured hip/leg now had me limping and I wasn’t getting any better. I did this exercise two nights in a row and on the third day I got out of bed and was walking with no pain or discomfort and no more hobbling. I was blown away! It’s been a week now and I missed one day of this exercise but I’m still walking normally. I’ve shared your video on Facebook and shouting out to the world about your organization. Amazing! I highly recommend this documentary as well: Fascia: The Secret World Under the Skin ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-mVrkBdt4J5Y.htmlsi=TdDE6PXOgMwIJtRu.
Not a good first try. Couldn't coordinate which way to turn, could barely stand straight or keep my balance. Painful legs. Sweaty. Felt sick. Could barely turn. What am I doing wrong? Feeling very cross with myself.
I've had scoliosis s curve and back pain for 12 years! I had conventional treatments like a back brace for years that did nothing but bruise me, also do yoga constantly but wihtout a significant difference. I look forward to trying this for the month! Are you supposed to do the palate swipe on the other side as well?
Love this so much but sometimes hard to se because of the sun. Are you always breathing in through nose and out of mounth and when you take in the breath for holding, it is in down to stomach or cheast, thanks to someone for answaring😊
Using the thumb inside the mouth swiping along the palate, agree its not clear but with it being inside the mouth it would probably require an illustration, demonstration with a fake mouth or some very closeup cams 😅
Thank you so much for making your work available. I have been bedridden for 4 + years due to cancer and surgery complications. I have only been able to do this 15 minute stress reset while lying down for some of it, and I'm still feeling relief from chronic pain. 💜🙏🏼💜
I want to share that I did this routoine 4 times within 10days in May this year. I have scoliosis, my thorasic curve was 28 degrees in Nov 2022, I just had exrays (Nov. 2023) and it went down to 20 degrees! I stopped as I had spasms in my back when playing golf, this lastest approx. 3 weeks. I was too nervous to continue but now that I have these results I am starting back again and plan to do every other week to get back easy. Thank you for this video, at 67 I never thought I could decrease my curve.
These exercises have changed my life. I’ve had chronic pain that’s been a struggle as my passion is dynamic movement. After a decade of various treatments, and waking up each day in pain…2 weeks of doing these exercises have me waking up pain free while training as intensely as I ever have with freestyle calisthenics, ATG, weight training, yoga, & various sports. I’m going through the 28 day reset now and feel amazing in my body. So grateful. ❤❤❤
I've done this routine twice and both times I unlocked sharp stiffness and pain associated with intense corporal punishment from my childhood. Had a big, big cry both times, but I felt lighter and freer afterwards. It felt like sharp rocks were being shaken and dissolved from my hips and spine.
I just discovered a breathing technique, inspired by this video, that helps with my extreme daily anxiety and I'm SO excited to share it. I've tried lots of other breathing techniques over the years, but nothing else personally helps me as much as what I just discovered. I breathe in and KEEP breathing in as much as I can, with small "gulps" of air until I can't breathe in any more (blowing myself up like a balloon). Then I hold my breath for as long as I can (at least 30 seconds, but I know many people might not be able to go that long at first). Then I breathe out and slowly take several large breaths in and out. Then repeat. While I'm holding my breath, I can feel myself and my brain "slowing down", and I think that's what's helping the most.
Finally, I did it. I did it wrong, it made me angry, but it’s a start. I am learning. I am in a place of healing, mentally, physically and now meta ! Thank you HG!
Just tried this, and it packs a punch! The only way I can explain how I feel right now is that the energy/blood flow in my body feels like it is moving again after feeling extremely fatigued and stiff. Thank you for this.
The amount of concentration it takes me to squeeze my sex organs and maintain it while doing the other 352 things is definitely going to take some practice! But, even after my first, albeit clumsy, attempt, I can feel a difference! I have kyphosis, scoliosis, degenerative disc disease in my neck, thoracic outlet syndrome, and super-tight muscles (no doubt holding trauma and grief) so I see this as a beneficial addition to Qigong, TRE, and Somatic Movement Therapy!
I had such an unexpected emotional release during this stretching routine. I knew I kept stress, tension and trauma in my neck and upper back, but I didn't realize allowing these areas to freely move and crack would offer such relief.
Me too! I just did this for the first time today. During, my stomach made lots of noises so I came downstairs afterwards to make breakfast. While I was cooking I just felt the sadness well up and overflow. I will continue to do this practice as I believe it's really wringing out what we have stuffed away in our tissues for so long.
Can you make an explanation to show a close up of how to do the palate swipe and what exactly we should be doing with our fingers and mouth? And also explaining why we do this? Also, later in the video there is something about pushing the tongue in the mouth, but how exactly do we need to be doing this? Push tongue where and what side? Thank you 💗💗💗
@@user-ly7ty8jz2o I just discovered HG and none of this makes sense as to why we are doing them. It seems really silly with no explanation to do this palate swipe.
Just use yourtongue which is easy enough to swipe without explanation. But my guess is everything and esp mouth is connected to fascia release... and as reflexology teaches, it contains map of all body
Can this be bringing up weird fears and feelings, visions? Not even sure they are mine, or where they are coming from , but I am guessing because of this? today will be my day 3 🙂
A teacher / friend of mine sent this to me because she knows I have been navigating out of a toxic environment and healing from previous trauma. I also have some other body imbalances that have intensely flared up from all the recent stress. This is only the first time I’ve done this and it truly does calm nerves and ground the energy felt in the body and mind, as well ease the physical symptoms caused by the anxiety which has been soothed. Thank you so much, I’ll be incorporating this into my practice regularly / daily!
Done this daily for over a month now except 4 days when I had a friend over. I’m definitely sleeping better and I don’t get as dizzy now. Really interesting
@@-what Awesome! Just make sure to keep your body relaxed, soft, and loose and not tensed up, fascia likes to move slowly & we want to avoid using our muscles as much as possible while doing the fascial maneuvers. =D
I wake up almost every morning with EXTREME morning anxiety (panicked feeling). I have a lot of trouble getting out of bed. Since my aunt and cousin introduce me to this video, I plan on doing this routine as soon as I wake up every morning. I hope it helps, because I struggle with extreme anxiety daily. Hopefully, I'll have a positive update to post in weeks/months after doing this every day. I'm optimistic that I will, but we'll just have to wait and see.
@@shareekhaldi I will! It's going well so far. Since I started feeling better, I also didn't feel the need to buy beer and cannabis like I usually do. So, I've decided to detoxify my body and see how long I can go without...
@@jessicahayward-smith3469 To be honest, terrible. After some improvement, my mental health has taken a turn for the worse. Maybe I'll have to go back on the meds that I stopped a few months ago.
It's just a miracle how this breath work makes me feel better instantly after i do it that's not even the best part, the effects last all day 🙂 I'm so grateful to have come across this channel . This routine should be a part of every human beings life
Totally agree with zahabia. I just came across this and just watching and i was wow. I need this go get my mind and body on track. I feel both have been out of shape for a while and i did not take care of herself;
I wish it worked like that for me. However, I just discovered a breathing technique, inspired by this video, that helps with my extreme daily anxiety. I've tried lots of other breathing techniques over the years, but nothing else personally helps me as much as what I just discovered. I breathe in and KEEP breathing in as much as I can, with small "gulps" of air until I can't breathe in any more (blowing myself up like a balloon). I have a question. That spinal lock. Is that only between the exercises (or at the start) or during the whole exercises. Thank you for these beautiful exercises!
I can’t wait for people would understand the benefits of healing and trauma release 🙏🏼The will would be a better place. Anyone who judges this are screaming they need the healing the most! Try it it’s life changing ❤
My neck and shoulders got incredibly sore after the first time. I think it's releasing stagnation from decades of tighteness due to multiple accidents. I'll keep at it and hydrate like crazy! Thanks for these amazing videos!🙏🏼
I gotta say thank youuu feel much better been doing these maneuvers for about a month or so.for all yall that came together and everyone trying this outt!❣💫
That’s awesome you should join an app where there’s thousands of other people sharing information. We’re going to have a great changes this is now probably your second month. App.humangarage.net
We practice every day! Thank you SO much! This class and the longer ones are opening up and changing so many things for us! We are so grateful for you offering this. Sending everyone at Human Garage our grateful love and blessings.
Could this reverse mild scoliosis!?? I’ve been feeling a bit down since I found out. doctors say that is irreversible, but I feel like is not. I used to work out and do weights not very heavy but supposedly ppl with scoliosis are not supposed to, which I find it weird cause I think it has actually helping me with lower and back pain it wouldn’t hurt me like it does now since I stopped doing it. I want to go back to the gym cause I have faith that it’s going to help me but I found your page!! Would this help me too !?? Please help 🙏
I like to start my day with a walk, approx 2 miles. On weekends when I connect with community I walk for closer to 4 miles. If I started to do this stress reset would I do it before or after my walk. I can see benefits to both options
First time! Was feeling very lousy before starting, and only made it halfway before having to call it quits to get ready for work. Even done imperfectly and briefly, this has made a marked difference on my state and I am so glad to have taken the first step. Now I’ve had this taster, I’ll be back for more without hesitation! Amazing stuff!
Awesome! When you say before an exercise, lock in your spine by pulling in the belly button and squeezing your rectum, do you breath that way too during the exercises? Or do you breath freely through the belly that goes up and down
Did this fascia maneuver yesterday before doing my modified sun salutation stretches and i noticed that my body was more flexible/loser/relaxed 🙏🏼 .. will be doing this once a day on its own or before my stretch routine for 28 days and hopefully it will help release the stress trapped in my body.. i am thankful to have crossed paths with you, human garage ♥️
Unusual set if exercise but incredibly effective. I had a pinch in my shoulder and hip that was Making me miserable. This made it feel better in just one session. I will be doi g this regularly from now on
Even though I didnt feel I did it absolutely correct and lost balance a few times I felt great after doing this. I was having some stomach issues and some worry and I feel so much better. Going to do again tomorrow. Thank you very much for your guidance.
