Excellent work bro👊🏾. I didn't realize that sealer was ready to spray. I will definitely use that in the future 👍🏾 I noticed you taped the plastic all the way to the floor. Good idea!
Great video buddy, ..I sprayed a 2004 accord with the Nardo gray single stage about a month ago. After doing the body work I used speedokote high build primer, the same sealer you used here and the results are outstanding. I talked with a rep at speedokote and got great advice about the products. I wish I could post a picture of the accord here. If anyone is on the fence about these products, don’t be they work great. The smr 135 is also the best everyday clear you can buy.
So it's actually $150 plus $100 for primer plus sealer plus bog? Why does every video have mega loud shitty music and 2000s camera phone microphone audio ?
Correct however most people don't use primer for there jobs with this paint . Alot of times you can simply sand your work with 600 grit and spray right over it
Wow it looks soooo easy and great when you spray a car.. I've done sprayed a car a few times with a 15 dollar harbor freight gun and rustoleum paint and it didn't go to well both times.. I wish I can spray a car this well.. I would buy paint and products all day long just to spray a car.. it looks so fun and its a passion of mine that I want to learn and do well but get scared to do so just cause of the results I've had in the past.. what kind of tips and pointers can you give me on what gun I should use for a beginner and is the nardo grey single stage or any single stage paint easier to paint with than a base coat clear coat method? And what size tips to use on the gun, and what would be a final sanding procedure you do before you start to lay paint down? I've seen on some videos you don't really sand to much of the car but your results are phenomenal as all of your work is.. damit I just wish I can spray like that is all 🤣 🤣
It didn't go well because tractor paint is not made to go on a car lol.. buy real automotive paint , use test panles practice spraying , USE YOUR EYES see how well the paint is laying down and flowing out and you should be just fine
@Speedokote refinish network okay thank you and what gun should I use to spray this the hte or the hvlp guns and I don't need to shoot any clear over this do I
If you want basecoat clear coat paint job we have the materials for that . Typically speaking , single stage is not designed for clear coating simply being it comes out shinny already .
Wow great job bro love it...can you please reach bk too me I would love have ya paint my car please lmk asap and inbox or email me and I'm hoping ya near me from what I'm guessing that plate said ya in PA if so great please get bk too me too drop car off.
going to spray my work van with an electric spray gun... either gonna go with rustoleum or maybe pick up a single stage paint.... you think the single stage will be a better option??
Hey Marco I just finished painting my 95 Corolla with this exact same sealer/single stage combo! I got some tiger striping and some rough spots how would you fix that?
I have a question for you mark so I bought the smr 1150 clear it sprays amazing and get an oem orange peel to match the rest but for some reason like I painted a fender it’s darker then say the door that’s next to it know why I was thinking maybe the clear
www.speedokote.com/high-gloss-nardo-grey-2k-acrylic-urethane-4-1-gallon-medium-kit-spk9712-spk75/ Here's a link. Its 150. And I used about 6oz of sealer to seal up those few spots . At 3-4$ cost I didn't really think to add it.
I wish I would have kept it but I was in school and it kept braking down on me and I needed something more reliable 😭 I sprayed my current e90 which is my play car sao Paolo yellow but thinking of doing nardo gray later this year. This single stage looks pretty easy to spray. Wonder if I would have to prime my car black or white to cover the bright yellow color it is now.
@@speedokoterefinishnetwork4937 I decided to buy this same single stage nardo grey kit but with a slow activator for the hot weather, do I need to clean my gun between my 2-3 coats or can I leave it? I will obviously clean it after I spray the sealer but am unsure about after that. Thanks, Marco!
@@speedokoterefinishnetwork4937 Thanks for the advice! I may bug you once I get a little closer to the time of spraying. I'm going on 3 years of building my car. Got the motor where I want it and now I want to get the outside to my liking.
