Agree totally. I believe the only reason the screen is "larger", there is more thermal volume, etc. is because of the keyboard "fix". Once Apple realized they could not fit the required keyboard into the same physical space as the butterfly keyboard, the laptop was expanded to accommodate the "new" keyboard. But as long as the MBP had to be a little thicker and a little heavier - why not make some other minor engineering changes. I actually love the 16" MBP and will upgrade from my 2012 MBP for the graphics - 2012 graphics not so great. I don't think we will ever see the 17" form factor again ..... IMO

@@sethl.lazarus6642 they should just release two versions of macbook pro, one with a cpu where they can handle the cooling in such a slim laptop, and the other laptop should be a bit thicker with better fans and specifications for the people who really use their laptops. First one as slim as possible with good performance not the best, but many features. Second one with upgradeability, thick but well designed, and performance oriented

@@aaronryder4008 No worries. They had it until the 2016 macbook pro, when they removed all the physical keys from the top row and integrated them all in the touch bar. So basically all 2016-2019 macbook pros (except for the new 16 inch of course) had ESC keys on the left part of the touch bar and it's just like touching any key on a smartphone screen. They added it because it's much worse experience than just clicking a physical key and be certain that you've clicked it ;)

There's a legal limit to how big a battery you can carry, with your carry on , on a plane. www.faa.gov/hazmat/packsafe/more_info/?hazmat=7 The limit is 100 watt hour battery. any bigger needs to be checked luggage.

Shalan Sharma I’ve had the 11” 2018 iPad Pro since release. No bending here whatsoever. Used in backpacks to go to class w/ heavy books no problem. Maybe some were worse than others.
