Yes I did. Yamaha USA uses a US company for that tool. I didn't know what it would take to make my own, until I got the driven pulley off the scoot, and could have a "look see" and measure the diameter of the spring cover. Then it was trying to decide on spending $5 or $10. I went with $5. ;)

Here's a link to the one I posted at the MajestyUSA forum, but Google may not let me paste it here. It didn't let me, so go to (search for) MajestyUSA and in the "forum's own" search box (not the google one at the top of the page), type in "tmax variator tool". Scroll down the page, and the drawing will come up; copy off the dimensions, or you may be able to "right click" the drawing and save it to your hard drive for printing.
I made that tool. There are some drawings for making one in the Tmax section at MajestyUSA.com. Just do an "internal search" in the Tmax section for the PDF drawing.
