man i really dont know if theres a group of guys that hit home like yall do especially coming from an east coast upbringing. the chemistry just reminds me of me and my friends when we talk music, sports, etc. love the pod guys and loving the the views going up you guys deserve it
I like that you guys let each other speak and respect each others points. Not a shot at other shows it’s just nice to listen to logical and mostly unbiased takes
I don’t agree with every take, but that’s the great thing about this podcast and basketball. Love to hear other guy’s opinions and how they view the game from their perspective and the talking points you guys bring up as well throughout it the show. Keep up the good work.
Loved the show as always. To clarify what Joel said. Miami heat only owes a first to okc in 23. So they can trade 1sts in 25, 27, and 29 in a package if they wanted to
I feel bad for Rudy for all the hate he’s been getting as of late, dude is arguably been the best true center the last decade, he’s a future hall of famer
I love Joel points out the negative about the slightly above average stats Dejounte had playing with Demar but then clearly won’t mention how he’s improved almost every year he’s played and Trae will draw a different kind of perimeter presence than Demar did not even comparable
Trevelin Queen Played for the Lakers summer league team a couple of years ago I’m suprised Drew didn’t catch that. He should make Phillys roster. He will probably fill the role that Zhaire Smith was supposed to play before career altering injury.
It seems like OG has a personal Vendetta against Harden. Saying Harden didnt show up to play when he was on a MVP campaign and had changed his game to fit KD and Kyrie when the Media was saying he wouldn't change up. Then he proceeded to avg 28, 8, and 6 against the Celtics
I like OG but Harden didn't have just one hamstring injury, he had 2. He was in MVP convos mid season before he got hurt and then he got hurt again in the Bucks series. How do you expect him to condition at an NBA level with multiple injuries
He right about Harden being out of shape a regular thing though. He been doing that before these injuries so of course the older he gets the more it’s gonna catch up on him
@@darrellwilliams9168 he didn't take into account that James has had one of the highest usage rates in the NBA for nearly a decade and even when he was hurting he still would play because if he missed significant time then Houston would literally be out the playoffs.
It was so long ago but I played against trae in high school regular ball and he played off the ball for 3 years and some times shared PG duties with marcus, I believe trae can play off the ball it’s just how they do it.
Joel talks so much Chicago just salty about us being good again just stop it bro quit hating LMAOO homie said the Knicks will be better than the bulls and look how that turned out LMAOOO
Like OG said on holding Miami Heat players accountable, are we not supposed to hold the front office even more accountable for giving Duncan Robinson such a huge deal and trading for and adding an aging Lowry
Everytime a player get hurt OG say they didn’t take care of they body like sometimes you can control injuries no matter how good you take care of your body
I can’t believe the OG asked that dumb question “Can John Wall play basketball “ ? 😂 John did not forget how to play basketball. These guys been playing basketball since they were 4 years old. If he’s healthy he’s going to be balling. 🤷🏾♂️
We saw John wall play in Houston and look very good. I have no doubt that he’ll be physically good enough to run since he did it and only didn’t play bc they sat him. Also in reference in to the leadership in the clippers…. I agree. That’s where the coach could step in and be that guy. I just don’t know if that’s his personality so…, idk how that’s gonna go. Tbh, John wall could be that guy potentially. Time will tell
OG Lowkey missed with that harden take, you can’t do cardio on a hamstring injury like AT ALL, so he is obviously gonna put on some weight, he has had the time this off season to recover from it and has gotten back to his regular routine workouts in the off season,
Biggest failure in NBA history? No and guys, its not even close. I feel the team that the Nets had just recovered from building when they created the team that lead to all those trades for KD and Kyrie. I feel that was a bigger failure. On paper that team was just disgusting... that starting line up.. my god... DWill JJ Pierce KG Brook Lopez and then on the bench they had Livinston, Blatche, AK47, Marcus Thorton, Jason Terry, Jarrett Jack, Thad... that team for like two seasons was or should have been, one of the scariest teams the NBA has ever seen and instead they won 38 games, knocked out in the first round. In terms of being a failed team, this new Nets team has nothing on those two seasons. In fact as the one guy mentions, that Lakers team was a disaster too and IMO a bigger failure. There's a few teams i could name that were a bigger disaster. How about the Knicks... 2004? 2003? Which ever year it was Izzy gave anyone a 20M/yr contract if they scored 20 points in one game? The year they had a salary that even today, would be over the cap? We could bring up the many Clippers teams before lob-city. Charlette is a candidate every year no matter who is on the team. I feel at the very minimum i could name 10 teams with one or more seasons that would surpass this current Nets team.
Nah shoutsouts to homie standing tall for the Knicks. OG Was hating so hard 😂 but looking back on this big fella was dead ass on the money with his Knick takes y’all let the media make y’all hate the Knicks so bad when they show signs of doing good y’all act like y’all blind. Good show tho overall 💯
Nets are the most disappointing team in history. There’s no question with that All-Time Talent in their primes not getting passed the 2nd RD is huge. As far as Duos go I’d argue Russ & KD (even Harden) has had more success than this Nets squad duos/trios.
Asking everyone in the comments and hopefully the guys see this. Do people actually think Malcom Brogdon is a true point guard? If so when has he ever shown you that.
Joel keeps saying regular season bro no one cares about Harden playing well in the regular season we need to see him not break down and choke in the playoffs🤣
Kyrie is to blame the guy was taking time off from basketball without letting Nash or the team know. Chose to not take the vaccine was very unreliable. I don’t blame Harden for leaving when his costars are unreliable.
