The Davis family, own a family farm, and several years ago JW purchased a large adjoining track of land surrounding it. While hunting which is a large pastime for the family a few of the dogs wandered one track of land further away while tracking them down just on the border of the newly acquired property was a barn that stood with this 1931 Chevrolet huckster underneath of it when people talk about a barn find typically it’s a fictitious thing but this was not. This was a legit barn find covered in vines and growth of who knows how many years. TL Davis the grandfather knew all about this generation of vehicle. The family pic the following weekend to get together to cut a path to not only get to it, but to retrieve it in attendance was just about every one of the main family members of the Davis Extended, Family, Tl davis (grandfather) the late Jimmy Davis, the oldest son with his 3 sons jw Brian and Daniel , David Davis, Barry Davis and his son Jake and several of the grandchildren as well. This unit was loaded on the trailer, roughly around lunchtime trailer back to the garage, and several hours later, not only worked on until it started, but had it moving weeks upon weeks after it took to track down parts and pieces and other things that it definitely needed from age and neglect, but it was made into a running and driving automobile once again with light cosmetic wood restoration performed on it now this unit sits in its current state in the Davis, auto sales exotic show room where it stays heated, called and will probably stay there for the rest of his life preserving this family adventure
