This 1941 harley Davidson EL motorrcycle is ready to be put back on the road. This is the starting procedure for an EL Knuck. This classic pre-war motorcycle was restored in the early 90's and placed in a HD Museum. It is a stunning example of the beauty of the Knucklehead motor5cycle even though some say this has too much "Bling".

Beautiful machine black and chrome same as my 2014 Streetglide Shrine. When I see an old girl like that I always think about all the lifetimes that bike has seen out and yet here she is going up and down the street TIMELESS!❤️🇺🇸

In the early 19th century when INDIAN MOTORCYCLE COMPANY tried to suppressed HARLEY DAVIDSON COMPANY..But, they couldn't you know why? Babe it's HARLEY DAVIDSON ❤️❤️ where the Davidsons brothers and Harley struggled vigorously around 3 decades ❤️❤️❤️

@@billgonzales2339 actually I've been riding a 73 Shovelhead for 9 years, I completely rebuilt my 77 Shovelhead, I did a full top end rebuild on my father's Panhead last year. Harley didn't have electric start until the 64. So I do know old Harleys.

Those tank badges are from 1946 I believe. The '41's were narrower. The red floorboard rubber has to go. And honestly- You don't need no stinkin' badges. Nice bike!

Ben’s TV most HD owner manuals state to spend no more than 60 seconds warming up the engine. Even says that in my Enfield 500 manual and my Sportster manual.

One day i'm going to video something. There absolutely must be something amazingly hard about keeping a subject centered in the screen. Stray dogs, the sky, a parked car, and the all time most filmed...the ground. Why is it soo very hard ? Courious in Missoula.

NIce Bike. AMCA is ruining the Harley's just like number matching and Bloomington gold has ruined Corvettes. You can have nice original bikes and vettes that don't have to meet peoples vision of correctness.

No Harley today is any better than that 1941. I have an 02 softail CVO 1450, but I wish now I would have found a shovel head cruiser and either rebuilt it or bought a low mileage one. Its less things to go wrong and does the same thing. Nothing has gotten better for the consumer, but instead is more unnecessary junk to go wrong so that marketers can make more money

Engine cases where numbered...both halves.

Just the engine number counts for the year, the frames had casting numbers only. Belly numbers were to match the cases, and above the rear mount are either 7's or H's. H's indicating high compression motor.

Too much Chrome. At these years, (40's) Chrome was expensive, and many parts come painted in black. This Guy, IS Lucky about the engine start: could be a false ignition, and the kick-start lever knocking the leg very hard....

This idiot was out of breath when he started filming. From 2 hours of trying to kick start with tennis shoes. Glad he did not drop this beautiful machine and hopefully it will get back to the museum and out of this Buffoons hands.
