No one did rockabilly tunes like Ronnie Dawson! "The Blond Bomber" was one of best and was certainly underrated. RIP Ronnie!

Never heard of "rockabilly" in 1957 and i was 10 y.old. The thing was (radios AM) rock & roll, Elvis, R. Nelson, many pop like the black artists and girls group but i never heard the word " rockabilly".

exactly Rock n roll seems to have been forgotten now and they were all Rockabilly stars. Any artist who played rock n roll is now called a rockabilly artist. Not sure why.

@@devonmoors ... Yes at the beginning (1955/56) and locally in the south of the US Elvis was called a Hillbilly and his music Rockabilly.
