Looks great. I remember what happened when you were painting with the red paint. You have done a number of “flip this property”. Not just the house, like a lot of people focus on, but the entire property (land and outbuildings). I’m sure your neighbors have been happy, you always increase the value and looks of your properties. Classic timeless looks! I really like all your projects.
Excellent ! ! ! Wonderful ! ! ! Inspiring ! ! ! The 2 of you are so special. You bring joy with these great videos of your resilience and positive outlooks. You remind me of my Grannie and Granddad. They didn’t have a lot, but always worked hard and prospered in their own humble way. There was always food and a place to stay for anyone who needed it. Grandad had a HUGE garden and Grannie canned whatever wasn’t sold at the roadside stand. Grannie even won the Blue Ribbon and her name on the Women’s Institute rose bowl trophy (nothing to do with Pasadena) for the Best Quart of Canned Peaches in the whole province of British Columbia. That was during the ‘50’s and was quite the achievement - had her picture in the 2 major newspapers and everything! You remind me of them so much. Keep up the good work. Love you all. Great job as always. I agree with putting the kids hand prints and the year someplace on the barn. My sisters and I went back to our childhood home in New York two years ago and found hand prints of our aunts and uncles in cement on the house steps...how cool that was and it like 90+ years old❤

Love your sweet farm; it gets better and better everyday. Ashley, painting those gates with left over paint might not have seemed like a big deal, but it added tremendously to the overall presentation of your "brand new" home. Those gates represent pride-of-place. Well done.
I was hesitant as soon as I saw the cover come off the the bucket! I kept an open mind and it came out beautiful! Great job guys! The gates look so much better Ashley nice job!
Great color! Love the gates too. I laughed at Ashley's response to Doug asking if she wanted to do some when he was scraping the windows. A simple "no"! Like Doug was trying to pass it off as a fun thing but she wasn't buying it!
The barn and the gates are looking good. When it’s winter you will have something pretty to look at with that pop of color. I’m looking forward to what you have up your sleeve to do with the barn after you mentioned you have some final things to do.
I absolutely LOVE the shade of blue you chose for the barn!! Perfect!!! I had no idea how quickly a razor blade could take paint off glass. Very effective indeed. Even the gates look great!! You guys are amazing!! I am truly enjoying each and every one of your videos. Keep up the great work!!

Beautiful color, it really pops. Can't wait till it snows, the barn will look beautiful against a white back drop. Nice work on the gates Ashley they closely match the doors, in Texas purple fences and gates mean keep out. Nice to get these chores out of the way, gives great satisfaction to stand back and look upon completed work.

Just found your channel today and my goodness do you ever do beautiful, beautiful work. I have a 1968 Skyline and if I was wealthy I would send all of you out to redo mine!! Truly enjoying each video. Regarding the cabinets you ordered on line and in dealing with Cap One...I would have gone as high up the chain, not just deal with a call center rep. Such a shame what that cabinet company did to you. In the past, all a negative experience but I did feel badly for you. You both work very hard, your an adorable couple and I am going to keep enjoying each video.....your chickens are cute and very vocal....lol. happy and well cared for.
Good idea, Ashley, to paint the gates. Put white on the posts holding gate at the entry, too after you finish the barn. Could use same paint if you have enough and need to use it up. The barn looks like new, makes the place look lived in and taken care of. Good job ya'll!!😃
Great Job!!! The barn and driveway gates look fantastic, and NEW. I'm not suggesting you should do this; but, if it were MY barn I would add some, or all, of the following: white shutters, white window boxes, white picket fencing around your garden, white lattice trellises or garden entry. As you can tell, I love the COTTAGE WORKSHOP look. You both have fantastic ideas for your property, and I look forward to seeing YOUR finishing touches to the barn. l love your family and your videos.

It looks good but as you both said once the edges etc. are complete it should look awesome😃, can't wait to see. However, now that the barn is painted I could not help but notice the "Chicken Coop Roof"🤪.
