There are some “quick pins” you can install in the boom, to lift cars by the steel bumper, not sure if your sling has the provisions for them.

The only thing I would recommend when towing with the sling is to lock the pins on the arms, you want them open when you are hooking up but locked while towing. Also, keep a 4x4 on the truck as well...some cars the bumper is not strong enough to hold the weight and you can put the 4x4 on top of the chains to hit on the frame if it reaches (mainly when towing from the front) and can stop from smashing the radiator support. I also carried a couple pool noodles to put over the chains when they were rubbing on something like the gas tank. Otherwise looked pretty good.

If you have 4x4s you can put them between the chains and the frame to take pressure off the rear bumper. You can place the 4x4s between the springs and chains as well. I run a wrecker that just has a sling. Transfers the weight better to the front axle than a wheel lift. Good work on the hook up.

I watch all of your and Jens videos. I enjoyed seeing the dedication at the end to the local volunteer firefighter. Keep those awesome videos rolling!
