This is very true.

That would have made life easier…we still never figured out what that was for…maybe eject seat option?

It always sparks when I do this, just need to make sure the connection between the two is solid. Does the starter engage when you do this?

I’m having the same problem, has power but no crank, jumping the starter solenoid only sparks but doesn’t engage the starter

Somehow it must have been flipped…but not intentionally. Oh yes, the 300ZX Twin Turbo will certainly have its own series soon enough!

No crank? For sure start with your battery and charging system. After you rule that out, check the starter.

@@autoobsessivegarage new starter but neutral safty switch harness is like gone. It’s got no connectors to it at all

That’s no fun. Major assumption is that it started/ran fine before… If so, triple check those two areas. Inspect that the throttle body is functioning (opening and closing all the way). Also look at all the vac lines you may have removed and all sensors are plugged all the way back in. Good luck!

@@autoobsessivegarage no issues before. I also replaced the air intake with a cold air intake. I just disconnected and reconnected the items below… 1. IAC 2. TPS 3. Throttle cable 4. Cruise control cable 5. Helper spring 6. MAF Meter 7. IAT Sensor 8. Master plug to MAF 9. Unplugged battery for 30 min

@@autoobsessivegarage I also inspected the throttle body operation before installing the cold air intake. I also checked the battery level, good. And I quick mist of starter fluid, didn’t work.

@@autoobsessivegarage at this point I’m going to remove the new throttle body and re-install the old.
