The 1989 edition of The Winston all-star race has gone down in history as one of the most iconic in the event's history.
It was former NASCAR villain Darrell Waltrip against Rusty Wallace, who would inherit Waltrip's black hat the moment his right-front fender made contact with the left rear of Waltrip's squeaky-clean Tide-sponsored Chevrolet.
