A lot of motorsports fans and EVEN SOME NASCAR fans say the Daytona 500 is nothing more than a luck based lottery. I strongly disagree, and one of the main arguments against is the dynasties of Chevrolet and now Denny Hamlin. One of the forgotten Daytona 500s happened in the 1990s with the single car operation fielded by Tim Morgan and Larry McClure. During the 1990s, the team found its success not through luck, but hard work from faces such as Tony Glover and Runt Pittman. Don't forget some wheelpower in Sterling Marlin and Ernie Irvan as well. The accomplishments they achieved is greatly underrated in my opinion, so here it is. The story of the Morgan-McClure Daytona 500 Dynasty!
