The Dallas Cowboys At The San Francisco 49ers Played On November 10th 1996 Will Never Be Forgotten As One Of The Last Great Matchups Between Both Teams And That There’s Never Been Anything Like This Game Since Then ! 😉😉😉😉😉😉😉😉😉😉😉😉😉😉😉
Long Live Dallas at San Francisco on that Fox NFL Sunday of November 10, 1996 and while in which this’ll always be remembered as my most favorite game ever in both the entire history of the NFL and where even including the year of 1996 itself and where as a Hardcore Dallas Cowboys Fan I’m still so very glad to this very day that the Cowboys has been able to least win one more victory over the SF 49ers before the end of the 1990’s and that just this one game to me is to memorable because it had ended up getting VideoTaped Unexpectedly by my Grandpa when having forgotten that I was going with him and my Grandma to the Asilomar on the Monterey Peninsula and then eventually later on that evening when I had come back to their house I had immediately turned on the TV and had found out that the Cowboys has won by looking straight at that Scoreboard on the Screen that said 20 to 17 in OT and what a day that’ll never be Forgotten ever ! 😉😉😉😉😉😉😉😉😉😉😉😉😉 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
May have been the last of the great rivalries....before the NFL got ruined in so many ways it was great to watch teams like these 49ers and Cowboys..also 70's Steelers...Dolphins ....Raiders....Cowboys80's Bears ...Redskins....Giants..Eagles ... It WAS a great game
Free agency killed Dallas beginning in 1993. Deion also was not a smart 7mil. sign. Egos blew it up too. The loss of TE Jay was devastating to their offense as well. Aikman. never the same. Dallas really imploded from the inside out. Drugs, jail, car wrecks, deaths all there to see. Social media would have eaten them alive
The Dallas Cowboys Having Won this Regular Season Game Over The San Francisco 49ers in that 20➖17 Victory was actually Barry Switzer’s 2nd Defining Moment In The Year 1996 And While primarily having won both 🏆Super Bowl XXX🏈 27➖17 up against The Pittsburgh Steelers in Tempe, Arizona !!!! 😉😉😉😉😉🏈🏈🏈🏈🏈🏈
Dallas At San Francisco 1996 And May This Truly Always Be Remembered As George Seifert’s Last Game Of This Classic Rivalry Matchup As Head Coach Of The San Francisco 49ers Between Both Of These Two Iconic Teams during the Decade Of 90’s And While In Which I’ll always be taking note of for a very fact to be exact ! 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Watching Switzer grabbing Aikman like that was pretty wild considering how those 2 felt about each other which wasn't great but they did somehow work together and win a Super Bowl
Aikman and Switzer always liked each other on a personal level. Aikman just became increasingly frustrated with Switzer’s lack of discipline. The relationship was just strained here. A year later it was completely fractured when Aikman called Switzer in the out in the locker room after losing to San Francisco.
The '96 49ers were a good team as San Francisco always was back then but went a combined 0-5 against Green Bay, Carolina and Dallas, the NFC's top 3 seeds. Went 13-0 against everybody else.
IMO this season would have gone VERY differently if Steve Young could have remained healthy. The losses to Dallas and GB can be directly attributed to his injuries.
@@sycasey IMO Young wouldn't have made a difference. Packers had no trouble with him in the 1995 playoffs, they wouldn't have had any trouble with him in the 1996 playoffs or 1997 playoffs, either.
@@HaeravonFAQs He could've made the difference in the regular season meeting that was decided in ot. But yes, in the playoffs, the Packers were far better. At least til the 98 season
@@briandavidson1946Boy, did they ever. They probably should have beaten them in the '98 postseason as well. Prior to 'The Catch II' (Young to Owens), Jerry Rice fumbled the football, but the refs blew the call!
This was a terrible game - low scoring and disappointing by both teams.... Dallas was struggling coming off that Superbowl and Michael Irvin suspension -- should have had a better season and this should have been a better game...both these teams should have been in the championship game in 1996 but we were stuck with Green Bay/Carolina -- which was sickening.
@@HaeravonFAQs Yeah the Packers were always better than the 49ers because Mike Holmgren was the offensive coordinator for the 49ers throughout the 80's.
This was actually a very competitive and entertaining game. Went to ot, just because it wasn't a 30 points affair, it was solid. Both teams were on the slide anyway
@@clickman443 Yeah, I was a Cowboys fan then and it really pissed me off to see them have those Michael Irvin scandals and that mess up their early 1996 season going 1-3 and then putting it together to be a wildcard team when they could have had like 13 wins had they been on-point ready to win from the get. The 49ers really did a better job at continually improving; Dallas fell off because they didn't bring in better talent like Moss or Gonzalez or try and get a solid back-up in case of Aikman ailing.
ahh yes... from 94 on was when san frag's owner and felon would sign every free agent possible and they would sign a contract for a base salary, then get handed a brief case full of cash from that mob felon. 😏😒🤫🤫🤫🤫🤫
I swear every old game I watch of the cowboys, #26 Kevin smith is getting destroyed!!! Lmaoo but he couldn’t have been that bad. He recorded 20 picks and 3 rings in his career
@jackduncan5442 True enough. It's too bad. He was still so young. Erik Williams was never the same following his car wreck in '94. Again, it's a real shame. Up until that point, he owned everyone - including Reggie White.
That's what Jerry Rice said one time. I'm with you on that one. If it wouldn't been for Steve Young being injured, my 49ers would score at least two more touchdowns to win it.
So Now Does The Subscriber Of This RU-vid Sports Channel Also Have A Copy Of The 49ers At Eagles That was played On December 21, Of 2003 During Week 16 In Philadelphia At Lincoln Financial Field And Where In Which The 49ers Had Ended Up Winning In An OverTime Victory With The Score Of 31 - 28 That Could Possibly Be Posted One Day To Watch ???? 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔 ????
DIAZ52 You’re right. The long time lush who once got so drunk that he & Tom Brookshier snuck a police horse onto a service elevator is in no way inebriated during this game. He always sounds like that. Thanks. 🥴
