My 96 Bronco Build. This build took 6 months to do. Mass air flow obII converted 460 using oem ford parts, dana 60 and ford sterling 10.25 swap using deaver 6" springs and James Duff arms, 4.88 gears and Detroit lockers front and back. 38x13.50 toyo m/t tires

I'm running pretty much the same set up on my 88 bronco. I do think have the psc. I've been leaning towards a 12v Cummins swap. for now I'm running a 408windsor and np435 trani. love the low 1st gear.

That's so nice. I've been toying with putting 1 tons under my 96. This gave me all sorts of other expensive ideas. Would almost be easier to cut a OBS truck short and stick a bronco shell on it lol.

So wait... did the sterling just bolt up? I see you have some wedges in there between the axle and the leafs, to correct then pinion angle right? I have 1996 Bronco, and I'm toying with the idea of doing the SAS up front, and a sterling 10.5 out back. How much welding is involved? I don't have a welder, or enough experience to weld on axles and suspension. Awesome build!

Ford didn't get it right. You did. Nicely done. What did you use for the Automatic transmission. I'm just making a guess on the cost to build without your labor just parts and materials only .. S omewhere around the 10k to 12k mark.. . You did a very outstanding job..

US4FREEDOM 0U812 In this vid I had a e4od in it but now have a zf5 speed swapped in. Cost guess is pretty close in this video but now am over the 20k mark. I have spent another 8-10k on parts since this video and plan to spend another 8-10k in the next 2 years

Sweet build! Going that route for my wife's bronco as far as the axles, thinking about doing the maf conversion and a 460, as the 94 351 I have is sd sadly.

matthew smith When I got it, it was on 35” bfg a/ts on 15x10 procomp wheels. Then went to 37” claws on 16x10 procomp wheels. Then 37” toyo m/t on 17x9 Mickey Thomason wheels and then 38” toyos on M/T wheels. Now it has 41.5 pitbull rockers on ATX slabs(no public pics yet)

I just bought a 94 e350 for a donor for my 78 Bronco. I just want to keep the motor stock. Is it worth switching to maf? I was planning on buying all the sensors and actuators new again to “rebuild” the efi system. I live in Alaska and just need a rig I can depend on.

If your staying stock, finding the MAF parts to me isn’t worth it. The efi 460s are really dependable and should give you no trouble.

How did you do the rear driveline up to the sterling 10.25 axle

dan cain You have a lot of options. It all depends on the yoke you have on the 10.25 really. If yours has a 1350 yoke all you have to do is take the flat flange off the stock driveshaft and if you have 6” of lift it should fit. I have a custom driveshaft because I run a Superduty flat flange with a 1410 joint and a 1350 CV shaft. I also have my stock shaft with a Yukon 1350/1410 conversion joint as a spare.

Its just rustoleum professional. No primer. Holds up good and looks good.

Dustyn's Fergie Fab when you had the TTB lift and added 37s did you have to add a body lift or trim the fenders? I purchased a 6” Superlift kit with extended radius arms and I’m wondering whether I should move the axle 1” forward like some members did on the forum to center the front wheel away from the front fender. I would rather not just to keep the spring more centered but I want your opinion. My rig will be dual-purpose daily driver and a weekend trail rig here for the Florida mud and woodland trails.

Mike : With the wheels I had they cleared fine with the 6” rough country lift other than my stock bumper had a 1” spacer “ I didn’t know till I took it off”. My 37” claws ran small so different tires may rub some. With a ttb lift you can’t move the axle forward.

gwh21375 Well stock mine would go for about 15k. But your pretty close. The white one on my channel is about to go up for sale I think. It will be in the 15-20k asking range. I wouldn’t let mine go for less than 25k at least. Been offered 20k and said no.

Yes, I will do a update walk around vid soon on it. It's coming back for some more upgrades. He doesn't plan on getting rid of it, that's his "crawler" bronco. We are building him another bronco for camping/weekend cruiser.

maxthereof yes sir. I have an 89. Hopefully one day mine can look as good as this one. I have a few steering column issues and an alignment to worry about first. Haha
