Nice work, Kev! At the same stage with a v4 setup. Just at the time of refit, they've (butterflies) decided to go all sluggish. GT85 to the rescue and if that fails, strip down again! 🙄 hey ho, as they say.

HI Kev, the heater hose with the kink in it needs to be taken off, and flipped over, the kink then goes around the idle cable!!

Cheers bud, after editing I looked at the manual and noticed I’d fitted it wrong, cheers for the confirmation 👌🏻😎

You tell it's post Christmas with all the quality street containers. I think many of us shed tinkering folk do the same 🙂

Oh, if it’s the same as my E1 model, I thought one of the slide screws was missing also but that was the location of the screw that holds the choke cable bracket. Might be the same on yours also

I disconnected the TPS, and was clueless on how to adjust it again. But a guy on the ZX9R forum told me to run the bike without the TPS, and it works excellent without it. The tps does very little on a carbed bike, but if you have the tool, you can adjust it back on.

I watched your whole series trying to figure out what's wrong with bought it at an auction, and it has the farings swapped out for stunt cages. I had a rattling in the engine, and the drive chain was jerking. After hauling it around on a trailer, the rattling disappeared and the oil light stays on. From watching your series I am guessing the previous owner did some clutch work and didn't assemble something properly. Thanks for helping me figure out where to start looking for my problem. I wish the series included reassembly videos though.

It’ll be back soon mate, as I said on my community page, I have a lot going on at the moment so RU-vid had to take a back seat. I’ll be back to making content as soon as I can though 👍🏻

I was so hoping you'd fit the throttle cables, as I have new ones to fit on mine, I hate carbbed bikes now lol It probably isn't too bad, but I'd prefer to not have to take the carbs off if I can help it. I've heard that these kits are not great too, makes me wonder if it's just people not setting them up right as they seem a well know and well used company for aftermarket parts, never used them myself.
