Great job Pete, my 00 C230K, is rattling, I have a timing chain tensioner & chain kit from FCP Euro, I'm nervous to do the job so I may swing by sometime if it's okay with you and tap some of your wisdom. Good eyes. I fixed them before putting back together but I had already filmed everything. I was hoping no one noticed. I’m not sure if it matters but I had to pull them and fix them.
This car had I believe 115k miles and no change of timing Chain. I’ve never had to do a timing chain. They should outlast the motor. Usually only guides need changed.
