Thanks for this video! My 2011 forester has been having AC temp problems for a year. Service rep at dealer discouraged me from having mine checked and replaced since he said that ambient temperature sensor had no effect on my AC. Never coming back to that dealer again!
Lol. Yeah the dealers can be a joke. Now in fairness I have no idea why on Earth the engineers felt these systems should be intertwined but....easy fix!
I have the same problem on my 96 jdm gravel express , altough my ambient does read good on a multimeter , but cleabing the connector seamed to do the trick for me ,
Great information!! My a/c blows warm on drivers side and cold on passenger side....do you have any ideas why? I read something about climate control proportioning valve not working...? Thanks Bro excellent explanation!!
What year is your car? Do you have separate passenger and driver controls? Not sure on Subaru but a common problem when only one side works is a part called a blend door actuator. Lots of ford's suffer from it and it can be a PITA to replace depending on where it is.
Yep same sad yours 2009 Forester. I need to take apart control area to get to that blend door actuator you mentioned, haven’t found a video yet. Thanks Bro!
