Eating eel is relatively common but this video reminds of the stark reality that struck me as a kid when I was served a head cheese sandwich while watching the monkey brain eating scene from Indiana Jones and temple of Doom that all cultures eat things others might find disgusting. Even by American standards that is a huge pile of food it’s fortunate that the tiny young lady seems to have a very fast metabolic rate. Part of the fun of these is watching how much fun you guys have doing something as routine as eating.
Huge Japanese dishes are often brought home. You can even take the katsudon in this video home with you. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-xo5LlARMQDU.html
When I eat Korean/Japanese, always go with unagi box. Not as good as the one in this clip, by a lot, and it's like 1/8th the amount. But. Still can't beat the 'concept' of the unagi 'box.' Plus. It's good enough for me. It might be one of the best meals I eat, all year. Eel. Sweet glaze for rice and eel. Assorted small dish of vegetables. Kinda glad I don't have to embarrass myself, being this 'weak' eater in terms of amount. People can put down a LOT of food in Japan.
