To wrap up the wish-list for this model: Same TFT display as the liquid-cooled boxter models, LED lighting, vibrations further improved (especially on pegs, as handle bar has the problem practically sorted out already) and a more sleek design on pannier anchoring. BMW would totally own the sport touring market.
I am honestly badly surprised this time by BMW. Why this bike has been left with the OLD instruments/dashboard ?? All other models have been upgraded to the new TFT that according to all review is one of the best ever on motorcicle. So why not on this bike???
The handlebar has obvious vibration after 6000 rpm. The throttle valve should be cleaned every 5,000 kilometers. I feel that the compression ratio can be reduced.
Would like to see with the panniers. Why is your left side the right side? Great job as always. Might have to come up this summer to get a bike from you. Waiting for your review of the new Triumph Scrambler 1200 before I decide on that or a GS 1250 Exclusive! Hope you get one soon!
I might have had the camera in selfie mode so I could see what I was doing or I'm just dyslexic. I should be getting in the first Scrambler 1200 very soon, like within the next couple of months. God I love that bike and just haven't had a demo at my access except for in Moab back in March where I got a little canyon carving opportunity with my man Brian Stokes during the Triumph Champion Training. LOVE IT, I think it feels like my '12 Street Triple R in transition speed and flickability and the torque just blows the roof of that 675, as well as, the amazing tone with the factory Arrow exhaust. I'll get one done as soon as I get my hands on a store demo. Cheers, ~Nate

Some rumour its being discontinued soon?? Hope not because I'm waiting for the tft at least as an option and maybe a front similar to the rr. I have a sports bike so what's all this about vibes😂😂😎
Well JC, the gold fork color is more than just a crave it's a designator of having DDC (Dynamic Damping Control) suspension which is electronic and the black forks on these models are the basic fork left. You could easily cover that beast up with some carbon wrap and have a completely pimped out quadruple black ; ) Cheers, ~Nate
@@NateJennings Thanks I never knew that. But yeah every time I see a bike review and a close up of gold forks, I think "Hmmm, what sort of shape would I need to cut out in a sheet of black wrap to get around that reflector lol." cheers
@@zenrising3314 Pop that damn reflector off and wrap that beast!! hahaha they are just one with adhesive tape so you can heat them off super easy and get that all black look you want. Cheers, ~Nate
