I really like your channel. Your modesty and the fact you are just a normal guy like us makes watching your videos really relatable. God knows I had enough of "luxury" and "prestigious" channels
I just got mine last week from the mail I got the one with the yellow accents and it's definitely a keeper for me! The blue lume lasts just a tiny bit longer than my GWG1000 and the look of the entire carbon monocoque looks really cool I don't regret shelling out $750 for this
I wore a triple sensor for almost 3 years now and just found out how to set the compass to correct the calibration. theres two ways to calibrate it and ones for bearing readings. (the figure 8) technique and ones for the North south east west readings (two point calibration). I STILL learn stuff about these watches that they dont mention in the manuals.
I want one of these, the new GWG-2000-1A3JF and the Protrek PRW-70T. I've got other watches but Casios solar-powered tech impresses me so much I'm dumping my battery-powered shocks and thinking out my Auto collection. I wonder if they'll make a combi bracelet for this so I can save wear and tear on the red strap? I don't see parts for these watches available on pacparts yet so I doubt the straps are going to be cheap. Also, there's are pretty decent deal for these on Sakura watches and I believe they are an official Casio dealer so no need to tell Casio it was a "gift" if you ever need to get the watch serviced. I bought a couple of Protreks from them so far and while shipping wasn't the fastest I was very pleased with the service. Especially since it is so hard to get jdm watches and Casio seems to treat North America like a red-headed stepchild when it comes to watch releases.
Hello G-Shock Legend. Thank you for the awesome content and the good vibes. And thanks for the sweet music you use in your vids. I need your help. My brand new GG-B100 has malfunctioned: hands have frozen, light is not coming on, alti/baro/temp screens are empty. Just the timer and stopwatch are working. Some people on the internet say this is due to static shock. I was planning on also buying a GWG-1000 but now honestly I am afraid of spending that money because I don’t want my GWG to die from a sweater spark. What do you know about static shock affecting G-Shocks? I feel like the most unlucky G-Shock customer ever… I hope you can shed some light on the matter. Thank you again!
As long as Bluetooth continues to be a standard I don't know if it will get obsolete for a very long time. Like USB it may get new iterations but it's always backwards compatible. If it doesn't at least like most Casio Bluetooth watches you can still operate the watch without it so that's good too.
The 4th gen Seiko monster has blue lume. That and this Frogman are the only models I can remember with blue lume. I saw another watch once which had both blue and green on the same dial. It worked spectacularly well. I saw it and I was like: WOW! Everybody should do this! Unfortunately, I can't remember the brand or the model, but it showed: you can have some blue lume and some green lume on the same dial and get a great result.
So true. I've been waiting for a new generation of lume for a long time. Neo-Display is absolutely disappointing and no longer acceptable with the high-quality watches.
@@gshockhighfashion If I imagine I am a diver and maybe I have poor visibility underwater, I would like to have pushers like the GW-9400. Better to find, better to push and more grip. Even if the GWF-A1000 pushers look good, they're not ideal.
Gwn q1000 way better! At least they could add a depth meter, compass and a thermo sensor. I own the quad sensor gulfmaster and the triple sensor frogman and i can tell you that the gulfmaster is better for snorkeling and free diving. The frogman beeps every time you surface and the message "slow" appears, it is purely for divers, for snorkeling is annoying. Btw the quad s gulfmaster is also carbon core, or at least was the first G that used carbon reinforced plastic but it wasn't written on it. Isn't carbon core a carbon reinforced plastic?
bro this is a true "diving watch" in the traditional sense. your digital watch is a wanna be diving computer that you can buy much better like Suunto that even attach to your tanks and have blue tooth logs. And yes if you use the frogman strictly as a back up diving computer then yes the digital is better, but 99% of the diving watches out there have no compass no diving sensors they just tell the time and the at most have a rotating bezel to tell down time which this g-shock has with its diving mode. People that buy this watch is for people that appreciate the analog look of a diving watch. walking around with the digital version is a bit embarrassing honestly, to the average eyes the digi frog looks like a big cheap g-shock....
@@wojciechpatalas6660 they can, but for the people that want that you have the citizen aqualand and the digital frogman.this is a new type that tries to compete with the tipical diving watch.
Fuck no, I will get a frogman as soon as they release a new DIGITAL smaller frogman like the old ones where you can see the metal shell from the front.
@@ROrneli and it fails greatly at that, it should be more steel and less carbon "plastic looking" and have a bezel, I see the point, but I can't see this one competing against classic diver style watches, it would be super cool a G-shock frogman more classic with bezel, but this one? Fails for me it's in the middle of everything, but as you said it's just my opinion, yours it's valid too of course. I can't see this frogman Competing against this Aqualand for example, and Casio sure can do it. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-boQGOW7w7_0.html
@@Sr.D I mean based on the g-shock groups i am on these frogmans are selling extremely well. proof of that is that casio has now released 3 more version of them a bunch of limited edition ones and 2 with metal bands. Yes the Aqualand on your video is fantastic .but let's be fair here , all these watches with rotating bezels are nothing but submariner homages. most of them look the same. I have a seiko prospex and same thing .. at least let's give credit to casio for trying to re-invent the analog diver on their own way. I own it and i wear it daily. a lot more than my prospex . plus the solar, blue tooth and atomic really make the casio a set and forget watch for the most part. Proof that casio was going for the "diver watch" look is that they added a big bezel to it, in reality it did not need it. between the bluetooth and the digital buttons you could had set the time just fine without it. but they were definitely looking for the "diver" look.
