@@bakerXderek Should do a recap of all these expenses and see how much everything cost. and to top it off a shirt/sweater would be a nice touch for the rebuild series to recop some of the money..... A DR-BakerxDick Head special shirt/sweater. with some " its alive ! " kind of stuff on it lol
@@willy54th so you didn't even watch the video. He explained it all and that he did get it because of his twitch followers helping him out.... Cheah!!!!!!!!!!!!
How satisfying is that? Nobody will or could appreciate the DR like you will, for good reason. I'm sure the ole two-hunny never felt as pleasurable as it does right now, just sitting on that worn-out seat cover.👊🏼 CONGRATULATIONS on a job well done.
Dude this gave me some good ol memories of motovlog, reminds me of some Aussie lads like Yourpalschrisandal and Leadpin holy fuck , thanks for doing this man, brings back alot of nostalgia . Peace bruv. CHEAH!!!
Congratulations dude! To some ppl who have built plenty of motors this wouldn’t seem like a big deal to them but coming from someone who has messed around with bikes and cars a lot but still never built a motor before I can imagine this would b a great feeling. Glad that the project worked out for u and look forward to watching sum more vlogs on that old bad boy
You're always amazed at what you can do when you nut up, pick up a wrench and give it the old college try. From one self taught mechanic to another, congratulations.
There's nothing much more satisfying than stepping back at the end of it all to marvel at the fruity ropes of your own knuckle bustin' labor. Man, I still crack a smile thinking back on my first full bike rebuild - shit got way too expensive way too fast because I went overboard on every little bell and whhhkistle, but it was soo fucking worth every last penny in the end.. I'm hyped for you, man. A few years ago I commented on one of your videos offering to rebuild this pupper for you free of labor charge, but its soo much cooler that you finally did it all yourself. 👌🏻
Hell to the yeah!!! You did it!! I never doubted ya. That thing is purring like a kitten! Awesome job Derek!! Can’t wait to see the first trail adventure on the old girl sense her fresh rebuild.
Bakerxwrenchhead!!! CHEAH!!!!!👌👌 Never have I been so stoked for someone else’s joy!!! Hell yeah!!! Can’t wait for some new DR200 adventures! Congrats man!!!
I started watching your channel for the DR200, and then got hooked on the Grom, and now thrilled to come back full circle. And the purr of that engine starting back up for the first time was awesome.
Been a while since I’ve watched some RU-vid and to see this beauty running again after 5 years is insane! Massive respect for the build man; stoked for you. Been watching you for about 5 years, so this is awesome 👌🏼
Holy balls batman he’s only got the thing fucking running BXD you are a mechanical genius ,a tear rolled down my face to see that thing back out on the streets ,great job 👏 👏
Man i can watch the saddest or most tragic videos, soldiers coming home or inspirational type videos and I don't bat an eye... but dude i got choked up watching this. It's been a long time coming brother. Felt like I was in a time machine for sure. Now go ahead an take it easy on the old girl. Much love man. CheaH 👌🏻
Definitely more satisfying to have done it yourself than to have had a shop do it or put a new motor in all together congrats on getting it up and running again
I started watching around the time you picked the bike up and its amazing seeing you on it again and seeing how happy its making you. Can't wait for more dr200 ropes.
Yes!! I've been waiting years for you to get back on this bike! I'm at work now but when I get off I will watch. Let's get some more off road adventures! I got a 2018dr200 and it's the most fun I've had on two wheels. More fun than my 450
Congratulations on the rebuild. It feels so good when YOU YOURSELF dive into something head first and fix it perfectly. No better feeling than that!!!! Glad to see it up and running
This is far by one the greatest accomplishments in motorvloger history Mr BXD alone took apart a engine and rebuilt it together to bring back the DR200 Awesome to see you bring back one of your favorite bikes CHEAH !
couldnt stop smiling watching this video. I know that feeling of happiness when you do something you never thought you could do. Happy for you dude! just bought my first bike last week too. Been wanting one since i started watching you back in highschool. My buddy makes music and at the end of one of his songs i let out a fat CHEAH and everyone loved it.
It’s alive 👏🏾👏🏾 .., when u turned it on I think I shed a tear of happiness 👍🏾.... also u sounded like a pro mechanic when u were putting it back together 👌🏾
Dude - That is awesome. Been watching since the day it used to run and do a lot of your original off road style videos. Super stoked for you man. Sucks though about the insurance thing though hot damn that is a lot.
Legit good job with explaining and showing the process. Even Frannie with the clutch let me clean your plastics for you motivation. So stoked for you dude
Congratulations man. Job well done. That's a great feeling knowing that you did it and it even works. Thanks for bringing us along for the ride. The dr200 is how I found you. At the time I was looking to buy one myself so wanted to see what they were all about. Peace.
