Just a short video of replacing the valve body in a 4L60E transmission on my 07 Chevrolet Trailblazer 4.2L, Plus installing sonnax pinless piston kit.
I purchased a remanufactured valve body with some built in sonnax upgrades like the TCC valve, AFL and accumulator valves, plus I added pinless forward accumulator piston (not in this video).
Also, I used a new separator plate to prevent future damage from excessive wear at the check ball ports.
I did this after my transmission began slipping when cruising at low speed and trying to lock on 4th.
This fixed the issue and made the transmission drive much better, shift better and overall feeling is improved.
This process, if relevant to the problems you may be having - can save you a lot of money from sending the transmission to a shop for an overall. However - if further damage has done (3-4 clutch pack etc.), this may be only a patch for some time.
