www.DaveMossTuning.com Ohvale makes the premier mini sportbike of our time. Their 190 Daytona rolled into Dave's tuning chock at Sonoma Raceway just north of San Francisco. www.DaveMossTuning.com
I heard a lot of reputation about this Italian MiniGP bike over the years. It was designed for younger riders who wanted to focus/entering the racing world. Another bigger option rather than Ohvale, might be Honda NSF250R Moriwaki. It really helps they said. Especially fixing your "body position" something like that. As an adult myself, I want it. But probably won't fit 😂
I am sure you could find the stock settings online, and replaying the video gives you changes eg shock compression clockwise 4 clicks, shock rebound 10 clicks faster etc.
Very interested in this video as I have recently taken up mini bike racing and have been applying the conventional logic to set up such as sag and ride high. Would be interested to know Dave's thoughts on weather that logic applies to such a small bike ??
I set sag at 30-33% and start there, then set COM at 50% of the total range and set rebound when the oil is hot. From there, dial in based on travel used.
And those specific settings are for who? What weight, ability, what type of track, for how many hours based on oil age? I appreciate Ohvale giving a starting point, but more data would be very helpful to the new owner.
@@catalystreactionsbw I’ve watched a ton of your videos. You’re the man! Thought the owner could have been better prepared with all info on the bike. I recently set my Ohvale suspension. Made a HUGE difference.
