OmG! You lubricate the mating surfaces on the crankcase where the gasket goes! I thought I was the only person that done this! LoL! and YES, people dont understand how easy they come apart next time, and the gasket just peels off in one piece and does not get stuck and have to be scraped off! I actually dont use oil, i use grease ... but it does the same thing. I am SO happy to see I am not the only person that does this! I do this with ALOT of gaskets! They always seal perfect, and they always peal off so easy so there is normally no need to scrap the surfaces again, because the gasket dont stick to them :) Awesome video my friend!
Hi Robert, if you refer to replacing the head and piston (top end) then yes you can. If you keep the stock crank and replace the piston and cylinder with 36mm bore then the engine total displacement will jump to 28.5cc which everyone call it 29cc. If you want to increase displacement to 29.5cc or 30.5cc then you need to install a stroker crank +1mm or +2mm. I hope this helps
@@tontobb8956 Hi Tonto, if you refer to head gasket then the paper gasket won't handle this high pressure. Use a cooper gasket and it will last forever. I hope this helps.
It depends on the engine brand, RCMK and Zenoah gasket and seals can last for so long. CY, king motor and Rovan will mot last for long. Maybe two years, however, it's easy to replace if it gets busted and I recommend a cooper gasket with the proper thickness to maintain a squish clearance of .35 - .50MM.
