This 20 minute Qigong morning routine will work your entire body, providing a good stretch for the neck, shoulders and the upper back. The Crane movement from the Five Animals Qigong is good for stretching the spine and the hips as well as open the chest for better breathing. It also helps to strengthen the muscles of the legs and aid balance and coordination.
Note: Be gentle to yourself & your body and avoid straining too hard. You will get more benefits and (stretching) from being relaxed and loose in the body than doing it through force.

Hi Kseny! I think this was a new video session for me! It definitely helped improve my mood and put a smile on my face! Your personality is so delightful! I also enjoyed the new Crane movement. I struggled a little with transition from bending forward to opening up front so I will need to repeat this video many times! With gratitude! Namaste

Many thanks for this practice, it’s always great for me to explore your RU-vid channel as there’s always a practise that calls out to me. This one I completed after an arm barre weights workout and this practice was just amazing as to my recovery. Feel calm, energised and ready for the rest of my day.

That was amazing... I am curious: why is it when I did the deep breathing alongside this practice, my ears went a little fuzzy? Rush of oxygen perhaps? Thank you as always for your wisdom!

Hi, interesting observation. Often deep breathing doesn’t mean hyperventilating. Keep your breathe as natural as possible, and if you notice yourself inhaling strong, lessen your efforts and keep your inhalations and exhalations even and smooth. Let me know how you get on!
