big murph then u are fine. If u want a real nice street friendly setup the 6.7 crank will make real good torque. If u r going to 5 k rpms then u want the 5.9 crank. But ur setup should work good with the 6.7 crank.
PeroxidesV Yes, it is o ringed and studded, has Hamilton: 103# springs, 178/208 cam, heavy duty pushrods, head was redone when I rebuilt the engine 20k miles ago. I got another block because I had a 53 block that was cracked at water jacket, and I patched it, then a yr. later it cracked farther, so I bought an 01 56 block and threw new rings and bearings in it, had it to machine shop, n did main studs.
bryant495470 Thank you,. Yes, I got a kit through leatherseats.com. It was custom made. I did the work myself, also got new lower cushions for both front seats. They were very wore out.
Crazy carls has your cam sensor adapter so you can use your factory sensor. And then you'll have your tachometer. Didn't know if ya knew. I p pumped my pickup a year ago.
I wanted to totally get rid of my ECM. I just found a tachometer that gets its signal from the alternator, and I got that installed. Also am running a Predator belt driven lift pump ( cuz my Airdog can’t make enough pressure for the P 7100.) Some of my dash gauges already didn’t work cuz the ECM was screwed up so I went with Edge EAS system. Is a little expensive but puts it all on 1 screen. Will hopefully do an update video on some things I did recently again
@@ppump24valve53 yeah you can talk to air dog or fass and they can send you the spring that increases your pressure. But I want to run that all mechanical belt driven pump as well hows it working for you? Any complaints?
Jon Wright I had the spring from Airdog to put it to 40psi. Plus I did a regulated return- That only lasted 8 months (a 4G 165 motor) and it was on its last leg- only making 25 psi. I wanted reliability, so I went with the Predator, from Power Driven Diesel. Now I can make 70 psi consistently. And it ramps up with rpm instead of dropping 10 psi like the Airdog. I have an Airdog sump then through a150 micron in-line filter to catch the big particles, then the Predator, then pressurized through a filter base that has water separator filter then a 2 micron filter, then to injection pump. I’m very happy with it! Just be sure to install a small in-line filter between predator and fuel tank to catch bigger particles, I didn’t for the first day and got a piece of dirt stuck in internal relief valve on predator, and only made 15 psi till I found it. (Due to them wanting the main filters on the pressure side instead of suction side of pump.) Also I thought I might need a 1 way check valve inline so fuel don’t flow back to tank, but that has not been a problem either. I’m all for a mechanical pump!
No, well I need to make another very detailed video n explain a number of things on my current setup n how all I have it now, n how it’s working. Btw, is my first video still on? Cuz it appears to me to maybe be removed?
