2000 F250 7.3 L diesel return line fuel leak 

thank you gonna check that fuel line as all o rings and fuel valve ,regulator, filter have been replaced and leaking now more than before . hopefully just needs to be tightened but that probably sounds easier than it is . But would explain why leaking more now then before . instead of leaking from 4-5 different places , it is now concentrated down to one. previous owner did not tighten things down very well on a few different things so far I have found .

you don't have to do all that, i only disconnected the the intercooler, left everything else in place

Leaks from rubbing the clamp, install a piece of rubber hose around the line where the clamp is

I did the same to my truck, had to use stubby wrench plus I was replacing my hpop at the same time.

I've had a decrease in fuel economy. My line is damp around the rubberized steel clamp below the turbo pedastal. Wondering if it's leaking or just kinda dirty being a diesel. Did u notice a fuel mileage increase after fixing the line?

Diesel Tech Ron did this without removing the transmission support brace.

My 99 Sat most of summer,when I went to move the truck as I was trying to start it Damn thing is leaking fuel all over the place from engine compartment. Don't know what line or if it's in or return,it's so hard to see where it's coming from. Thanks for any info

What part of Missouri are you from? How hard was that front pinion seal?
