Bought a Pats transceiver on eBay for $40 with free shipping... Took the old one out and replaced it with the used one from eBay and the truck started right up !!!
I did so as well but the problem still happening especially when it’s cold outside, it did get better tho but not nearly where I’m comfortable because it happens so random now. … I assume it’s the pcm itself because it does turn on but it’s just random especially when it rains or it’s cold it does it the most where u get a rapid blinking light, will crank but no start. I also swapped all the fuses and relays, alternator, battery, new chip in key programmed. Also I just recently had it diagnosed and I also have lean and rich condition codes that won’t go away even tho there is no problems on the truck and swapped all parts having to do with so… I assume it’s my pcm going out. My windows also are slow when they roll up and my dash won’t light up and work aside from a few indicators on the dash. I will swap PCM/ECU and update.
Hello, I have a 2000 Ford explorer sport. Would you be kind enough to let me know which wires are the wires for the communication bus between the PATS module and the PCM as I am receiving a U1261 communicaion bus problem and Im trying to troubleshoot the wiring. Im also looking for the exact PATS module you use in the video. Would you happen to have any spares. Thanks
