**THIS IS NOT A HOW TO**
After replacing the fan blade I noticed the crankshaft pulley had a really bad play. Would wobble really bad while the engine was running. After doing some research online I found out that the KA24DE is not internally balanced so it's highly recommended to go OEM or ATI if you go aftermarket. So I decided to just go with an (OEM) from Nissan.
Shoutout to Rick Norman from Zshack for hooking it up for me.

I have a 2000 frontier v6 3.3L And mines is wobbly. Just ordered it from eBay. Hopefully it won’t matter that it’s aftermarket. My buddy said that my rubber surround might be bad, like yours

I think this is happening on my 01 Frontier. Glad it’s not too hard to do. What torque spec did you tighten it to (crank pulley bolt)?

@@javieleoya With the engine off, spin the fan blade that is attached to the fan clutch. If it spins too freely, thats a sign that is going bad. Fan clutch needs to have some resistance.

@@ByronRamos_ I just replaced the fan clutch on a friend's 2002 frontier with the same engine. Symptom: A/C not cooling at idle. Not only did it freewheel (would keep spinning 5-6 seconds after engine was turned off), but there was significant side to side play, like a bad wheel bearing. The old part was covered with that viscous oil and was messy to deal with. I'm surprised he didn't have overheating issues since his fan clutch was beyond worn out. What's funny is two different shops told him he needed a new AC compressor!!

that rubber is worn out cause you never did any maintenance. At least everytime you replace timing belt, or any job that requires removing the crankshaft you should clean it and lube.

I have never heard of such a thing to "clean and lube" the rubber ring. lol Also, due to wear and tear, high temperatures, exposure to coolant or engine oil (due to leaks), is when the rubber ring can get damaged. This particular engine has a timing chain by the way.
