Thank you for this video. My 02 Lariat's odometer works intermittently and I understand the fix is to reflow some solder joints on the circuit board (when I get around to it!) so I need to remove the instrument cluster.

Was able to order the 1.5w tan bulbs. The 1.2w blue ones are not showing on amazon anymore. Any others that might work?

So at my smog inspection a error code came up but the check engine light wasn't lightning up. So my question is there a light bulb that can be changed out on this cluster. Why I'm i asking is they say i have to replace my whole cluster board. My truck is a 2001 f150 xlt 4.6. Thank Mark

Any luck with this? It is possible there is a light out. After doing this repair I noticed that the word "Theft" would illuminate and blink when the vehicle was locked. Since the bulb was out, I never knew it said that.

9:26 in the video shows the check engine light illuminating (lower left) during initial startup...or are you suggesting that your check engine light is on and you want to "fix the problem" by removing the bulb?

Man this is a life saver. Ford wanted like $15 a bulb or something crazy when i asked a year ago and i didn’t want some gross leds. Have these worked well for you and how was the fit. Is the brightness same as original?

@@InsaneOil from my understanding 01 is when the went from a regular 194 style peanut bulb to these little guys with the integrated socket. Who knows though lol
