Great explanation on the video. I have same truck with same P0441 code. What purge solenoid brand did you use?

Great video, but you didn't say where part "22802 6358" came from -- is it Duralast?

I have the same code on a 2001 3.4, but tthe purge valve stutters when I switch it on with my scanner, but just clicks once when bench tested. It works fine, but when I check the voltages on the pig tail im getting 12.5 on the positive and a wild fluctuation on the ground coming from the ecm????? i.e. the command wire. Could it be a short in the pigtail? I'll be changing that next.

I keep getting a CEL and code P0110. Any ideas 2001 Toyota tacoma 2.7 ?

Hello thank you for posting your question and happy Thanksgiving! The most common problem with this code is the mass air flow sensor. Before replacing any parts a proper diagnostic needs to be made. With the engine running wiggle the connector and see if you notice any change in how the engine performs. Keep me posted . God bless you and your family.

@@gqautodiagnostics …..thanks for your prompt response. And happy thanksgiving to you and your family. We had a fuel pump give out. So we replaced it yesterday. We started from the front to the back before ruling out a short or a fuse . Like you said the basics first. We checked the spark plugs and ended up being the fuel pump. We did mess with the air flow sensor and intake to replace the spark plugs during the plugs r&r. After we replaced the fuel pump the truck started right up. So it was the pump. After it started the rpm’s are high at just idleling. Then it revs up and down on its own. We replaced the mass air flow sensor and it continues to do it. Gonna try a smoke test and look for leaks. I can’t think of anything else.
