good job man....should mention all those 10mm bolts for the air intake/plennum are torque specific tho 56 ft lbs in sequence then 85 ft lbs i think

The torque for the isolator bolts and the cover for the intake plenum is 89 inch lbs. Not foot pounds! And they should be torqued in a pattern.

What was the symptoms

This fix is for the P0171 and 174 Check engine light codes. Vacuum leak.

This was for the water by-pass tube that was leaking. did not replaced the gaskets still on the originals with no leaks. Next month or so I will post another video, the van is using a lot of oil replacing the pvc did not help, i've read on automotiveforums that replacing the lower intake gaskets will do the trick. so thats next for me.

I would torque the bolts to inch pounds not foot pounds!

He didn't even tighten that intake manifold in the correct sequence or use a torque wrench to torque those bolts down to the correct spec. Hopefully that intake manifold didn't go bad on you

Jon, the upper and lower gaskets are right there and you probably should have changed them with the whole thing disassembled. That should clear code P174. Have you replaced the water pump on this car yet? I need to do that and can't find a video for it. Forums talk about having to take out the engine mounts and jack up the whole motor....I'm not looking forward to that! Let me know.
