Good video. Right to the point. I've had to change this resistor (for the third time now) in the past, and I always watch a mind refresher RU-vid video for how to do it. Now I jist wonder what keeps causing my resistors to gove out. See you again in about two years for the next change out!
Great video, the problem is I can't find a replacement part anywhere that fits. The cover for the old piece does not fit on any of the new parts that I've found so far.
Excellent video, great explanations and very easy to see and understand. My fan would work sometimes but cut out completely in the summer, and here in the desert it's really rough when the AC quits. The old unit was fried, apparently a common thing with those modules. Damn chevy electronics. Saved me an easy $400. Can't thank you guys enough.
For the rear blower not working, it's probably the burnt wire behind the driver side kick panel. I believe it was an orange wire. It's been years since i fixed it on my 2003 chevy tahoe.
replaced the blower motor actuator, still nothing, checked fuses, all fuses fine. checked my actual HVAC control center on the dash (digital) everything works on it other than the ac actually blowing. I was sitting in my car and the ac just randomly stopped blowing. y'all have any pointers? thanks
If you have no speeds then it can really be the resistor or the blower. You can check to see if you are getting power to the blower using a volt meter. Otherwise I would just replace the resistor first to determine - they are fairly cheap online and will probably fail eventually anyway.
Good video..Same with mine. I only had 2 and 5 then it finally just quit. after the swap I got 2345 then lost 3 and last night sitting in the drive thru it quit completely. Coming on but not blowing at all.. I replaced that part about a year ago. Anyone think it's the part or possibly the switch on the dash itself? 🤔 too hot for this bs lol
This was helpful but not what I was looking for. My thing down at the bottom is not bolted in and someone in the passenger side hit it with their foot and now the whole fan piece is out. Idk how im gonna get that back in there.
