Hello everyone,
In this episode we meet Joey and his 6th gen Accord. A grocery getter that was not mean to be modified is not rocking a BBK and H swap. That is how crazy things escalate I guess. I got one im 16 the car is 5 speed and is reliable with 50 you get a full tank and I'm always stepping on the gas is very fun

Love the 6th gen accord. Got mine still after 6 years with 217k miles. I've had the CRX's with d16z6 swaps and EG's with B16's, but would always stress about getting them stolen; not so much with these and they just look classy to me.

I'm really just now getting into trying to build a nice Honda. This generation has always been my favorite body style. I've looked into parts for this that fit what I'd think would look good. I've always been a Mustang or just all around V8 kind of guy. This is a beautiful example of what I'd try for. Definitely subscribing to the channel.

This is really nice! Yeah theres a couple marks here and there but its still clean and shiny for what it is, the refinished wheels and brakes are super well done and you can tell hes an experienced DIY-er making the best of what he has, keep up the build man! Looks great!

Clean build can’t wait to build mines just got mines a month ago and go threw the same process accept I don’t have a kid lol just my daily/grocery getter. I love it man that’s my plan my for accord to look like but with the green factory color. Glad to own a 6th gen accord I love it’s comfortable and a like quick uk.

@@cristhofertaveras921 same bro, I got a 00 v6 sedan. I love it, I've put a lot of money into it just for general maintenance repairs and looking forward to putting money into it for upgrades. The only "upgrade" I've done is stiff motor mounts so far

Got an 02 lx witj 125k miles did an auto tune up and replaced most of the engine parts as well as wheels and tires also threw in a new white paint job to match it with my black 17s xxr rims nothing too fancy or race type which I would love to but sadly is automatic. I would love to buy yours lol Automotive Anatomy nice ride at this point in life lol better looking then most new rides out there. #classy6thgen

I have a 99, 2.3L 5-speed manual with 280k+. Maintain your car and it can last a long time.

@@AutomotiveAnatomy My favorite part is that my dude didn't dip on his car - he easily could've sold it and picked up a 4door EG/EK etc. Little to no aftermarket support for that ride and he made it work by frankenstiening the car through innovative ways and an H23A? lmao my dude got a SiR accord wagon engine tucked away.

About the gauge cluster. If you took off the needles? Did it leave your RPM and MPH throw off? Please LMK. If it did? Would you tell me how to change it back to normal? Never messed with the change in gauge cluster before.

Where did he get his motor mounts from? I have the Black adapter piece on the driver side, but still using the Accord motor mount. And does not fit properly!

A shallow hood scope, a raised rear spoiler and remove the braw and it would look better, imo. It's a nice mod though the way it is but does have potential of being more sporty lookin. I also have a 02 accord and these body styles ain't bad really, even if it is a 4 door. Some 4 doors come out lookin just as good as 2 doors with the right mods.

The coupe bumper is a little lower so there's a gap between the hood and the bumper line. I use the bra to hide this line and I think it looks good

The motor is out of the SIR Accord wagon. The transmission is from the f20B SIR-T.

I sold an integra turbo (had a baby)to buy one of these 7 years ago and hated it, now it's grown on me and I've modded it out. Not the fastest but ive hit red line constantly for 150k, never broke anything but a hose

Not hatin whatsoever that 6th gen is dope but in my experience you gotta use a Honda genuine ignition cap and rotor! It really does make a difference. I jus noticed there was a Bosch cap and that came to mind.

I Miss mine...super minty. But I digress...I sold It for next to nothing. But that’s a tyc original cluster from eBay. Should have a white glow as well. I remember buying these and supergluing them to the damn cluster....omg what was I thinking...oh to be 16 Again
