Nice car! I had an 04 competition orange mach that made 300whp 325wtq with just an intake spacer, drop in k&n filter, off road x and flowmasters, currently have a 18 GT PP1 with just a tune putting down 440whp 409wtq.

Really good dyno numbers. My 2004 Mach 1 put down 290 rwhp with only Borla Stinger catback w/ stock mid-pipe, C&L intake, and a 91 octane tune (no 93 in AZ unfortunately) through stock 4-speed auto. Dyno'd 4,500 ft above sea level. Thinking about going with a single 76mm turbo setup, or HPP twin turbo kit with 57mm turbos.

Such sweet music especially for 300hp range!

I have D1sc on 02 Gt, long tube SLP, Elec water pump, Typhoon maifold, stage 2 cams, 75mil TB, 355 gears, Diablo, 398hp, 465trq to rear wheels, you should be close to 500hp, amzing trq too

Don't worry you should be able to still daily drive ur mustang too, I used to all the time when I had mine with a p-1sc procharger on 6 lbs really conservative but I drove it everywhere. Eventually ur going to want to get another daily driver if u start getting more and more into it.

I made around 298-301 hp with gt40 intake and heads. Shorty headers. X pipe. Flowmasters. Bbk 75mm throttle body and bbk cold air intake. 95 GT

I’m sure you know by now that you can’t run too much boost through those 4.6s with the factory rods. You need to stop at like 400hp before you throw a rod and screw the whole damn thing up. They say 450 is the magic number but why run it so close? I’d rather run it low and then be able to race it without the fear of blowing the engine

Actually those are very good numbers for minimal boltons . typically should be around 290-295 rwhp so you got better than average .

you should be fine!! Im pretty sure the manuel Mach 1 has a Forged crank just like the Cobra did it should be a Kellogg crank one of the best

Man I’d be stoked with those numbers. I took my stock Mach 1 to test & tune Friday night (it is bone stock, no exhaust, stock paper air filter etc.) it ran a best 14.37 @ 95 lol it was embarrassing. And it’s an auto so it’s not like I was missing gears. I may be down on power but 300rwhp is awesome out of this.

My Mach is an auto so probably mine is in the 260 range since I don't have the extra 1,000rpm

Just so you knos 306 wheel is at least 350 at the flywheel. Ford rates em at 305 for 03 and 310 for 04 but they really have around 330 as they do 280 bone stock. They were well known for being underrated. Intake full exhaust and tune gets you above 300 even without longtubes...with long tubes youre in the 310-320 range. These cars are faster than people realize they ran low 13s stock back in the day so theyre not as far behind coyotes as some may think. Love mach 1s i used to have a fbo tuned one it was prettu quick for what it was. Mine had long tubes and offroad x. It also had flowmaster mufflers, bbk twin 65 tbody and a k&n intake and was tuned on 93 by bama (i know bama isnt that great but thats what i went with as there arent alot of good local tuners here). It was quick as hell for what it was. Stock 355 gears too

To be honest those numbers are suspiciously high. If your car is putting down 306 HP with those mods then that's around 350 crank horsepower. I doubt those mods you listed gained you 30+ RWHP. Mach 1's are definitely underrated from the factory. Probably make 310-320 HP stock judging by their stock rear wheel numbers. Either way your car is awesome. And has tons of potential. Sneak a set of 96 Cobra intake cams in there and see 20+ more HP at the wheels BTW.

People put top much into these dyno numbers...oh if it dont make x power it sucks or oh if it does make x power itll be awesome...end of the day its what the car runs like and how it pulls and better yet how it makes you feel that is important not dyno numbers which can be high or low depending on the dyno. Its a tuning tool meant for before after mods to try and judge changes not meant for the absolute number it puts out...more people need to understand that. You may have the best running stock mach ever and it may put down 260 on a low reading dyno...its still a killer runner for stock regaurdless what the dyno said...
