3:39 Andrew Voss: The Players elations says it all. North Queensland have made history by reaching the Club’s first ever NRL Grand Final. And the dark early days of their existence seems Galaxies away. The Excitement among the Fans has reached fever pitch and with good reason, The So-Called other mob had earned a shot a League’s Holy Grail.
Worst loss I've ever witnessed from the Eels, Minor Premiers that year and kept scoreless in the Preliminary final. The loss to the knights in the 2001 Grand Final is not far behind (at least the blue and gold made some sort of a comeback in that game.
Too true. Aside from the fluke that was 2009, this game marked the start of the rot that set in at Parramatta. 2017: gone in straight sets. 2019: Broncos were disgraceful while Storm taught Eels a lesson. 33 years without a premiership.
I think they mean it’s a joke that Cowboys came 5th on the ladder, lost 50-6 to the 4th placed Tigers in Week 1 but survived to beat Eels in Week 3. Still they lost to Tigers again in the one that mattered.
Lawrence Parkes well, they scored 29 points in the preliminary final against roosters, and the semi final against parramatta was the exact same score as as the one against Melbourne!
still think wingers were better before they changed the corner post rule no winger today could put the bull down next to the post without touching it while in the air in touch like they use to
