Did you ever figure this out? I purchased an 05 (mechanic special). Previous owner changed heads. There was a sensor like this one not plugged into anything. I moved everything like your video only to find the sensor was there. So where does this extra sensor go?
Slightly but definitely need to be changed! Just felt better replacing it and seeing if it was the issue behind my boost gauge issue however it did not fix that.
My 2005 LLY shows 1-2 psi at idle depending on engine temp. I figured it was just normal air flow pressure at idle. It shows 0 with key on and engine off
2006 Duramax STOP STOP DO NOT FOLLOW THIS VIDEO. It is on the charge air line on the passenger side. You don't need to disconnect all this stuff. You will not find any sensor at all in this location. Ask me how I know. Maybe that's where it was in 2005 but not in 2006
