What other mods do you have? What's your hp and torque? I bought the DR cams, but haven't installed yet. I also have the brenspeed ca and tune, shortys and pulleys. It's fun, but I've been saving for the throwback package.

I would feel comfortable with 550 to wheels in a 3v. A good tune and correct supported mods I would daily it without a second thought.

It's the torque that matters as Brent has stated before. As long as it's around that 450 or so mark give or take its fine. The way to make more power safely on stock engine is all in the supporting mods. I.e. cams, headers, manifold, etc. All that increases power and holds power and torque longer before dropping off without increasing peak tq (cams can even take away some peak but will hold tq up top without dropping off). Of you tried to make 550 with a stock long block its probably gonna be above that safe 450 torque range and you're gonna have to run alot more boost to get there i.e. it wouldn't be safe. It's all in the supporting mods. If you just throw boost on a stock engine you might not get much over 450 wheel. That is what these people don't understand that say "don't waste your time with engine mods just go boost" those are the guys who's stuck at 450 wheel and talk shit about the 3v not being able to make enough power lol.

Out of curiosity, why can a 3v hold 500+rwhp and a 4v only 450? Are the stock rods the same?

The Brenspeed rule is to keep the torque 450 and below. This is a full bolt-on supercharged motor.

The 4v can probably hold that too with cams and other mods like that to keep peak torque down and move the curve out further.

Hey, I've been repeatedly going back to your website to look at your 50 state legal supercharger kit and I had some questions. The Edelbrock E-Force supercharger has covers for the heads. But I don't see them on your images or description. Is that a separate thing or do they come with the kit?

The basic 50 state kit from Edelbrock comes with covers. Our 520E and 560E does not, but you can get them separate. Our 520E and 560E makes more power and comes with other upgrades the 50 state does not from a performance stand point. So we leave the covers optional.

Question for ya. I have an 07 3 valve. Comp thumpr cams. Steeda charge motion delete plates. C&l air intake. Pypes muffler delete. 4.10 gears. Only made 283 on dyno. That normal?

All dyno's are different. Depends on the type of dyno, trans, if auto was the converter locked, all sorts of variables. To hard to answer. But on a dyno jet, manual, if everything was installed correctly and working I would say not normal. But could be normal depending on the type of dyno. Not enough info. Those headers typically move the front 02 sensors down enough that may cause a CEL code for transport delay on a 3V. It will not make the car run bad or anything, but a tune adjusting the delay can typically eliminate the CEL light if you get it. A high flow catted mid pipe itself is no tune required.

I went with a nitrous Express kit for my car because I couldn't afford a supercharger. Are MSD blasters coils and brisk spark plugs good for nitrous?

Yes both are just fine. Run 1 step colder brisk spark plugs gap them to about .028 to .030

I have a FBO Paxton SL 2200 on my 05 Mustang GT with 93-tuned octane does it make a difference?

Depending on fuel quality it can. Exact same quality 91 vs 93 a 93 would run more timing and make more power. But sometimes 91 is really good as well as 93 and vise versa. Just depends on the quality and also time of year with winter additives.

Depends on the build. Some it is required, some it is not. Yes it is an additional cost or sometimes depending on the build if it is required that cost is included in install or on a separate line item on the quote.

We like to upgrade it. Do you have to, no, but think about it the stock is designed for 300 flywheel HP and this is making double that at the flywheel. The cooler the better so we like an upgraded radiator, fan, and cooler T-stat.

It's called a centrifugal blower with cams and a Ford racing manifold. All those things emphasize top end power and take away some torque down low while extending the power curve out more. Those mods don't add torque they take some peak tq while stretching the power curve out alot more before it drops off. This is how you go well over 500 to the tire with a 3v.
