Great cars these. Took me a few years to find a good one where I live as they're bloody rare here. And they don't half go good as well! I track mine occasionally and I think the biggest let down was the brakes. Good for two or three hard stops but after that they turn to mush pretty quickly

I had the Diesel version. The torque was fantastic but it sounded like a transit 😂 It was written off the other month. I was looking at getting the MK2 Focus ST 2.5 but the interior was so bland compared to ST/ST220. So I'm going to view an ST220 tomorrow. So hopefully will have one tomorrow

What mileage do these cars get before they start packing in?

Largely depends on how its been driven and how well its been serviced, a well serviced snd looked after, not ragged car should easily hit 100,000 to 150,000

Around 110,000 miles they start to go into self destruct mode, as do most Fords!

@@Benjy9845 We have '02 Mondeo STW 1.8 Duratec, it's mileage is now 424 000km and still keeps going and all works, only minor rust problems what can fix at home even it's last "bad year" model, they failed with rust protection in factory but after 2003 and newers are better what my friend who is car salesman said to me.
