I remember watching this live in Seattle. It was my very first eSports event and I was just amazed at the time of how the production was setup for one of my favorite games. I remember how exciting it was to watch that demon hunter hit level 6 :)
And in 2008 I was looking forward sky back to champion and had his revenge. But he was eliminated by Ted in group match, that's how I started to hate UD, haha
A level 6 Demon Hunter is something feared by almost every Warcraft 3 player. What fears them even more is a level 6 Demon Hunter with both an Orb of Venom and Scourge Bone Chimes.
@memokk it is difficult to say as the game was pretty close. To my understand only two mistakes, reinforcements were caught in transition too many times and he left creo to creep more than he should...earning two of the strongest items for Demonhunter: boots of agility +6 and Scourge Bone Chimes (healing when melee units attack) it is debatable, though
He trade farm cause Creo was scouting with DH and moonraiders all the early game. Archimage need lvl 4 for : 1. Big water elemental. 2. lvl aura, cause priest and linas waste a lot of mana and is imposible sustain without lvl 2 aura.
@ode4951 right! thats what chaos dmg means :D but you are absolutly right :D its avatar that gives 20 dmg. ohh... and one more thing transfomation also give's AOE (splash) dmg
@ThriceDog Damn it, I shouldn't have read your comment; I didn't notice it until you brought it up lol. But goddamnit he does sound like Waterboy! ca-ca-ca-ca-captain insano!
TBH if the DH didn't turn L6 at that moment im pretty sure NE player woulda GG'd right there or be too broken to continue (both were super low on gold/resource)
Hey everyone. I played war 3 quite a bit when I was younger (ie. high school age) but not very much multiplayer. I'm more of a starcraft guy so maybe someone can explain to me why it would be a good idea to use militia to creep; I mean from SC sacrificng workers is the worst thing you could possibly do early game; is it really that much different in WC?
militia dont should be die. Creo was very smart to detonate wisp and kill 1 water elemental to make more harder to farm that spot. Usually water elemental should take the damage but Sky was very scary to pull his 2 water elemental and sacrifice some militia hp, big mistake because Demon Hunter kill 4.
is so ironic how dj wheat doesnt know what the hell hes talking about really but is a good commentator in general yet seed is a babbling studdering nerd whos really annoying but actually knows the game
@youBigLoser Dude, he IS having fun. and dont give me that crap. did you see how many medals america had? Thoes people were just as guilty as SkY was. Besides, why not get paid to do something you love? he, like the other 800 contestants, make a living off of playing games. personally, i think that's pretty much genious!
Although the cast is horrible...djwheat casts okayyyyy but has no idea of wc3 and the other guy stutters so much that you dont understand anything... the first good english speaking wc3 casters were rotterdam and tod... but before they started i prefered the german casts by far... whereas in sc2 i prefere english casts xD
@youBigLoser like you could last longer. SkY could completely destroy you and damn near anyone else. A lot of Creo's victory was luck. But i wanted Creo to win. xD
