2007 Mazda CX-7 Startup Engine & In Depth Tour 

I loved my Mazda but we had to trade it in. Oil and transmission leaks at 150k miles. This one looks immaculate! Any leaks?

TypicalBlackCurl beware my cousins had a cx-7 and it was nice but the transmission was bad and when it hit 200k miles the car leaked and on the highway it had a problem with the steering fluid so they sold it for a 2006 Mazda 3

I owned one and even though it drives nicely, I don't think is very reliable. At 150,000 it started to leak oil. If you buy one, make sure you take it to the mechanic. Also, the turbo version seems to be the one that gives more trouble.

A little late to the party but I had a cx7. Loved it but it was junk! Engine went at like 150k!

2007 was the 1st year they came out & I think 2011 was the last year for the CX-7

@@fordmustang98guy I still say everytime I get behind the wheel I miss my Mazda, felt like it was a perfect fit first thing I notice beside the body lines and roomy interior was the dash board felt broad wide and not one blind spot, I felt the car had great smooth ride, effortless take off and hugged the road well. Dash was well lit and put together easy a great lay out. Trunk space awesome and with seat down excellent Not bad on the surround sound This vehicle I miss how crazy is that not since my 69 Buick skylark have I felt a vehicle be the right fit in a while mustangs, audi kia's jeep the Nissan is close except the dash panel drives me crazy still

MrNewcaledonia Normal sound for the DISI engine, direct injection engines tend to sound like that especially when cold. the chain will produce a rattle noise upon start-up just for a few seconds and it comes from the passenger side of the engine.

I think the valves tick no matter what. Mines been doing that for 30k miles no problem. Its the shit turbo that leaks or smokes. About to upgrade turbo to beefier version k 582. Its going to be a huge mess. Turbo is barely even visible.

It’s actually the DISI or “direct injection” that makes that loud noise, that’s why VW’s TFSI or TSI engines make a loud ticking noise too, it’s the loud injectors
