Work on 08 accord at the positive terminal some one connected the white cable and black cable coming out the fuse box together. Why? Disconnect the black cable and the car does nothing. What do you think 🤔

You start out speaking about 2 MAIN relays for the vehicle. I looked at some diagrams for the 2008 and the one you focus on in the video under the hood is called PGM-FI Main No.1 and there is another relay under the dash, later part of the video, called PGM-FI Main No. 2. I guess there is no way to know which is causing the issue without using the ohms meter (Don't have one). How much is the second relay or are they both the same? Thanks for your opinion.

I have a honda Accord/Inspire 2011.. It's showing a PGM-FI check engine light.. Seems to be an electrical problem.. can it be a relay issue?

I was changing the reverse lights on my 2008 Honda Accord EX 4 cylinder and it was the wrong LED lights and something got Bridged and the light stopped working even when I put the old factory bulb in but, after I turned off the car it would not come back on and the dash lights was out in the display gauge was out I got the back dash lights to come back on but the display gauge will not come back on in my car. It will crank but immediately turn back off any idea what the problem could be?

Hi , I have a 2010 Honda Accord 4 cylinder. PO139 engine light won’t go off ! I changed O2 sensors . Downstream and upstream . Changes the sensors multiple times, different brands . Cleaned Throttlebody and sensor. I did catalytic converter cleaner’s. The Honda runs perfect but the dang engine light won’t turn off .

What I figured out was bazaar, I had a K&N engine filter and maybe it had too much oil on the filter and it was throwing engine codes, or because the underneath engine plastic got ripped off and I live down a dirt road dirt just kind flying through , throwing engine codes through mass air flow sensor

my relay didn't come out that easy! The difference in the relays may be a flyback protection diode or gold contacts and or capacitor(s) for transient voltage spikes etc, now I'll have to dissect a few.

My old Porsche 911 FP relay has a diode in it and it's more expensive. You can use a regular one but for emergency use only and change to the proper one asap.

One symptom the relay is going bad is on a restart after the engine is already warmed up. Many times it wont start but if you let it sit for awhile itll start back up.

Thank you for the video. I replaced the main relay but I still have the same problem as before, while driving the power train icon comes on, the "D" for driving light goes out and then comes back on and while driving it slows down and the ignition turns off. And I replaced the relay three times. Any other suggestions?

Would a faulty main relay cause slow cranking starts? Sometimes it takes 5 or less cranks to start the car, pumping the gas seems to help.

please help! i am having problem starting my 2008 honda accord 2.4l . i have to crank 3 or 4 times before it starts. Coils, plugs and fuel pump have all been replaced yet same problem. Hard starting, idles rough, hesitation and lack of power. I need your help

Check in Drive Accord Forum. I have this same problem and others do too. It's been a nightmare and still is to this day. There is a TBS (Service Bulletin) on ALL 2008 Honda Accords that relates to this specific problem. Service Bulletin 09-050

Alternator is good batter is brand new and it will not start I have a 05 Honda Accord so someone said it can be a main relay issue. How do I know it's the main relay, and not the fuel pump relay, or anything else?! At first when it was jumped it'll hold a charge for a few minutes. Than after jumping it it didn't hold long and started cutting off while I was driving. I had to jump it to park it! When I stick my key in the lights flash and goes away when I turn it all the way. I don't hear the clicking anymore Helllpppp I need my car! I'm trying to get someone to come and take a look I would like to know the issue beforehand if possible because people here like to charge a arm and a leg to diagnose a problem that isn't getting me anywhere!

Wow im gojn thru same rn . 08 accord v6 turned off on me on highway . Turned off silently . Then crank but no start . Im over here getting told my timing belt broke ,, let me check main relay first
