The long - winded bullshit from the old guys are the ones who probably find their hub just about welded in there. In fact, if you examine the condition of the flange that fits into this guys Prius, it looks quite oxidized and rusted into place. Most of the time it requires an air chisel to work the flange back and forth just to get it to move. However, the guy creating this content makes it look like it just fell right out. Look at the condition of the bolts. I seriously doubt "it came right out."
I wish you hadn't cut out the biggest parts of this process. Tons of awkward shots of bolt locations and spinning bolts, but the specifics of the job itself are hidden behind jump cuts.
Thanks for the video Just a quick tip... You can take the whole caliper off in one piece by taking out the other 2 bolts. There is no need to separate the caliper. Use a hand rachet and an extension.
Seems no one other than both my neighbors and my car have difficulty with wheel bearings. Practically welded on there. 2hrs of crowbars, mini sledge, punches, carriage bolts, impact chisel, and finally off in pieces. Now other side tomorrow! Smh
