So I ordered this service through eBay and shipped it regular through UPS which took 7 days, you could choose sooner but it's expensive. They received it one morning and shipped it back out the same day. The service is great you pay for shipping it to them and also an additional $14 for them to ship back to you but as you can see, it works 100% and all in all it took me less than 3 hours to figure out how to remove and then re-install and I didn't have the guidance I'm providing you so you should do it a lot quicker.

This also fixed my 2007 F150 I had the brake warning light, the ABS light and also a Tool light would come on intermittently with error code P062c ... Its been several months now and all the lights are off. Codes Clear... Thanks Pablo and the Break Module Pros in Van Nuys!

thanks for the info I have those lights on for ABS so I went to advanced auto to chek for a fault they said it was the right abs sensor so I changed it got the same problem I think the problem is the module so after watching your video I am going to change the module hope it fixes the problem

Hello...yes if you go to the ebay listing for the service you will be buying, they have the codes that you should be getting. I wasnt getting them all just one or 2 but that was enough for me and it worked beautifully.

Thanks for the video. I used a E6 socket and there are 4 bolts to remove. The wire harness lever pulls up to remove. I did not remove the fender well. This fix saves a lot of money. Thanks again!

Thanks for this video. Pulled my module and sent it to the repair folks you mentioned. They shipped it back second day after they received it. I got it a few days later. Installed it this morning and after starting my truck, no ABS, traction or repair brake lights. Fixed and saved $100's.

SEE UPDATE IN THE REPLIES: I have an 09 5.4L 2WD just started doing this. Solid pavement, coming to a stop and felt the crunch crunch of the ABS kick on for half half second and then the ABS light and traction control light lit up and normal braking ensued. Lights turned off when I started it back up again, but as soon as I needed to brake felt the ABS for a split second again and lights came back. Did this for about 4 days, now they stay on. Guess I'll be sending this unit out for a refurbishment. Thanks for the video, I had no idea what I was looking for.

My 07 F150 had the brake warning light and the ABS light on. I was getting code C1300-F0 "abs pump motor circuit fault" I followed this procedure and used this ebay link and got my module back within a few days. Once installed, the light cleared as soon as I pulled out of my driveway. The actual socket that I used was an E5, external torx.

Thanks Pablo. And thanks to the folks in Van Nuys, the Brake Module Pros. As @Darkforces mentions below, you don't have to remove the fender guard. Just take the 4 screws out (E6 female torx socket) and then pull the module up to diconnect. Smaller hands will make the job easier. Thanks Bro!

Same symptoms with the dash lights but I see brake fluid coming from the HCU(?), one of the four lines. Need to replace the whole unit? Can you find a used one or need a new one ($$$)?

Is there a trick to disengaging the lever on the wiring harness shown at 1:25. You showed flipping it back down but I cannot get mine to go up and do not want to snap it off. Seems like there is something I need to do before that lever moves.

@@PabloZelaya I loosened them but wanted to make sure I could get the wires off before I took them all the way out. Looks like it should just flip up. Even sprayed some lube in there and it won't budge. Obviously not rusted as it is all plastic so thought there may be a small tab or other lever i am not pressing first.

Hola, la parte se llama ABS Module. No es peligroso incluso la puedes manejar con la parte fuera cuando la mandes a reparación sólo tienes que levantar y asegurar los cables sonre la llanta para que la llanta no los coja. Eso es todo. Cualquier cosa me avisas. Un gusto

No problem...ypu can operate it just make sure the hanging wires are secured. Steering my be a bit hard but totally driveable.

Once you lower the lever that unlocks it and it pulls straight back.

Hello yes just be sure to secure the cables dangling above the tire so you don't jave an accident or something. Perfectly fine to do so. Steering might be a bit harder.

I cant recall to be honest with u I just tried them all but I think it was either 6 or 5. Careful not to strip them

I was able to get them off with 5/32" socket with no stripping.

The smallest star bit I had was a 6 and that was too big. A 5/32" or a 4mm regular hex socket will both work. At least on mine.

Unless you do your own mechanical repairs, auto dealers service and neighborhood mechanics will take your bank account to the cleaners. We always a buy a complete service manual when purchasing new or used vehicles. It’s worth the extra 20 to 50 bucks if you know how to do mechanical and or electrical work. It’s not that complicated and think of all the dollars you can save.

I have this problem also. My brake caliper on the driver side occasionally seizes and won’t release until it’s parked for a while. This happens every once in a while. Will replacing the module fix this problem?

I am not sure as that was not one of my symptoms. However, I recently had that happen to me bjt it was the fromt brake hose. I bought both for $100, the mechanic charged me $120 and boom, problem solved! I had to gas the truck before it would move and that can cause serious damage.

What did you do Mine does seize once in a while. On the pass side. Same scenario as you. Mechanic told me it must be the abs module. But im considering to replace the hose now first

It probably needs the rubber brake hose between the hard piped brake line and the caliper replaced. They are notorious for deterioration on the inside of the hose and plugging up. Hopefully this helps, it happened to me

Hello, not that I recall. It was more the lights but I do remember the brake pedal going down a lot and it being really soft. Sorry it's been a while but it may still be the unit. I'd say try it as it's going to be the cheapest way to get a better diagnosis and you can't harm the truck by doing especially if your lights are on as well. You may want to check your brake swtich, it's around a $30 part and I understand it could impact brake behavior and should be easy install. If you look at a new one online, you'll see a little white bar sticking out. When you pull the used one out, see if that goes in and out easily as it should or it may even be stuck inside where you don't see it, that's definitnely a problem. I just recently had to replace that too. Good luck!

Hello, yes you need to send yours in. They say a week allowing time for you to send it in and get it back but they usually send it the same day they get it depending on the time of day. The quicker you get to them the faster u get it..

No la ordené. La tienes que sacar y enviarla a la compañía en California para que te la reparen. Al recibirla la vuelves a poner. Es la parte que muestro la ABS Module. Puedes manejar la camioneta sin esa parte sólo agarra los cables para que no peguen en la llanta.

No need to touch the brakes. The module is on the backside of the abs block.

Normally you do have to program a new module but since you're repairing your original module, it's already programmed.

I paid $505 for a refurbished one at Auto Zone, Lifetime Warranty --they will give you $200 for your old Core One so the refurbished one just cost me $305 dollars total cost--2008 f150-5.4 liter engine, of course engine should make no difference...

Don't recall but if you go tot he website for the company that provides the services, they list the codes that their service will fix so if you get that code it will be fixed by this service.

Was this after removing the module? If so, that's fine, they'll turn off when you re-install. You can still drive just be careful with the wires near the tires and your steering may be a bit off.

@@franciscoarriaga1466 en las instrucciones que doy en el video es una compañía que las repara. Hay que sacarla, enviarla por UPS y generalmente ellos la devuelven el mismo día que la reciben. Si la envías express el.proceso puede ser de unos 4 a 5 días. Lo bueno es que puedes sehuir manejando el pickup sin problema sólo asegúrate que no quede ningún cable colgando, amarralos a un ladito para que la llanta no los vaya a dañar. Eso es todo, cuando te la devuelvan, la pones de nuevo y rapidito se aoagan las luces. Suerte.

When I unplug it the pump quits running I plug it back in and the pump starts running even with the truck turned off so would that be the pump messed or the electrical part
