the ZL1 is a beast the manual transmission I love. my ZL1 2015 Recaro seats manual transmission 850 hp

He got on it so hard and was shifting at like 3500rpms... And slamming gears XD

I think I know the reason for the lower gearing. It has to do with 0-60 times. Back in '05, Ford built the GT and designed it so that 0-60 could be completed in 1st gear. That was supposedly going to give it the extra boost because of the time lost switching gears to 2nd.

I must admit at around :20 in this video those cars passing by scared me!

If you don't want a badass retro looking car like the camaro, then buy a boring ass mustang! Mustang actually looks worse now then it ever did in looks, almost looks likes a honda accord! Its narrow, sits to high, with no muscle car feel at all! I guess thats why I see nothing but SS"s on the road! ZL1 is just a track car for the street thats been improved and it looks really awesome, good job GM!

You mentioned the CTS. Guess what. That is where the Camaro gets it suspension from. The Corvette seems to be a good car to get performance upgrade idea from.

He says the ss has too low of gears to use the performance. .. but lower gears give better torque multiplication therefore better acceleration .

Hell yes chevy is the best GM all the way.

I'm a diehard GM dude, I own a 99 LS1 TA and an 06 LS2 GTO, but even I believe I would go with the GT500 over the ZL1

LOL, you know what actually I use to miss it alot even when driving normally in the GTO, because I always went straight up out of 2nd to neutral, then I would go right and then up into third, this caused me to go into fifth alot and sometimes back in first. Now I go north east out of 2nd and slide right in, but were you saying that I was full of shit because I would take the '13 GT500 over the ZL1, or because you don't believe I have a LS1 and 2?

the only thing I don't like about it. ( I haven't been in a refreshed model) was teh Steering wheel, and the shirt knob. so i went with the 2012 SRT8 challenger...then the mustang GT....now i'm trying to get the SRT8 back....
