Great Tips & Tricks Jason!!! Thank you. I have a 2013 Accord XL w/out navigation (one screen / not two)… How do I play the radio and get Siri or my iPhone GPS app to work / interrupt the radio audio with driving directions?

@WhiteyMcKrackerHonke No you can not close them that way because if someone's fingers could get stuck. BUT if you put the key in the door and turn to the lock position and hold it, all the windows and sunroof will close ;-) that will save you from putting the key back in the ignition ;-) thank for your question and for watching

Yes the Crosstour bass and sub woofer sound better due to the placement of the speakers and the rear hatch. I have had good luck with letting the sub woofer 'break in' by turning the sub level to its highest for about 6-8 weeks. Then turn it to a normal listening level. It wont ever sound like the Crosstour but it does get better and deeper sound. Let me know if that works HPJ

LOL, thanks for letting me know about the window opening trick. After all this time, I didn't know this happened. Bought my Accord SE brand spankin new. Now it has around 240,000 kms (Canada), slammed with Vossen wheels and an airbag setup.

If you press the lock button twice and hold it, it will roll the windows up back, even the sunroof (from both open & tilt position).

you fill them one your phone first, then the car will read them from there. please email me if you have more questions :-)

If only when you were locking the car you could hold the lock button and they would go up. I do love this feature though on my 2011 Coupe. In less than two weeks I am picking up my 2014 Sedan Sport!

hi jason, i have seen your videos today because my parents just bought me a new honda accord couple 2014. the car is full with leather seats back camera, chrome wheel. well the point is it has everything except navigation. my question is if i will be able to put navigation in the future? hope you answer soon. thanks and keep the good work!!

I don't know if a Honda Dealer would do this. I would try a good stereo/lighting shop. Honda Dealers normally don't want to do non-warranty installs. Ill check a price to replace the HID's on a Touring, that should give you an idea ;-) Thanks for the feedback and support, Jason

The multi view is on the Accord coupe EX and the Accord sedan EX-L and you use the menu/sel button

the window/sunroof open feature is nice, but can it be applied to also closing ?

Jason, i found a couple more things out... the max speed that adaptive cruise will work is 90mph... dont ask(it involves a sonata turbo :-) ) secondly, on the adaptive cruise, if you hold down the speed up button it will go to the next 0 or 5mph and then increase by 5mph from there on... up to 90.

Yes Siri thru Bluetooth took place in the 2013 Accord but in the 2012 Civic. The Accord Touring is the only Honda vehicle to have ACC as of now. Jason

Both great questions. 1st It will only open remotely for safely BUT if you put the key in the door and turn and hold in the lock position the windows and sunroof will shut ;-) 2nd the relock feature is if you unlock your doors and dont open them the car will 're lock' itself after a set time :-) Please try both and let me know HondaPro Jason

I didn't see your email address on the video. But I do appreciate you doing a video to help explain the car. I have a 2014 Accord ex-l v6. I have 2 questions. 1. On the back up camera I have mine on wide angle, you see 3 yellow lines, 2 solid and 1 dotted. What is the distant for the dotted, and single lines. I know I am still going to hit something backing up as I haven't figured this out yet. 2. The 16gb HDD. Why do they make it so hard to get music on this thing. Would be nice to just transfer I tunes library. If you make them to MP3's does the Cover & Artist still show up along with title of song? And how do you or can you erase something on the HDD? Please and thank you for your help.

I Like this channel, I think your next review (Part 3) Honda Accord should be lane keep assist system LKAS as part of the Advanced Driver Assist Sytem ADAS. I try to explain this to my customers with mixed results.

I have Honda Accord 2015 full option but don't have any side cameras. only rear. Or do I have to activate or enable the side cameras if they are there?

Jason, High marks for the presentation, much needed. I would like to see one featuring the Honda Nav unit as it seems to have a mind of it's own. The voice recognition on my 2011 is pretty much useless unless I use exactly the words in the help menu. HELP!!!

In the 2011 Accord you do have to use the exact words or phrases the car wants. there is a list of them in the help setting.

Hey Jason I got a question!m I bought the 2014 Accord a couple months ago and I just realised the "opening the windows by pressing unblock button on the remote" feature, you taught. My question was: Does the inside cover of the Sunroof need to be open in advance for the windows to be opening via the remote button or does the sunroof cover get opened automatically as the sunroof is being opened via the unlock button? Also, if the cover does get opened as the sunroof is being opened via the remote; does this damage the cover in any way? Cheers Jason and great job on the presentation ! :)

This feature is only available in the EX and above. I hope Honda will change that so all trim levels get the auto down window feature soon.

Will 2013 Civic Sedan EX do the same with the remote starter - dropping windows? Do you press unlock, and then press hold unlock a second time? or just press hold unlock on its own? Thanks!

hello HPJ ... did they remove the opening of the windows in the LX model? I recently got the LX 2013 model and I could not make this work. My 2010 LX had this feature and I used it on a daily basis. Is this feature hidden somewhere in the LX version, or is it available only on EX version in 2013?

thanks Jason. the head unit is nice but too bad doesn't support playing MP4 video .... how about the DVD player in Accord 2013? if MP4 files burned into DVD and play from the DVD player, do u think it can play the media file?

Thanks HPJ! I have only had the car for about a week and it is really bothering me that the audio sounds so muddy at times. I'll give it time to burn in though and see if things improve in the next month or two. Just an FYI - I am not one who is trying to break windows with my music, but I do enjoy hearing deep, clear lows in certain types of music. My old 2003 Civic HX with stock speakers and a mid-line Alpine head unit sounded better than my new Accord :-( Yikes...
