Best DIY video I have seen on replacing the Honda alternator.

Just bought a used Accord and Previous owner must have not change it before. Heard whistle noise on freeway pulled over and the wheel that holds the belt on alternator completely came off. Melted a hole on the wheel plastic liner. I will be using this video to help me replace damaged belt and Alternator. Simple and very informative video. Thanks!

i have a question: do you know what the lower alternator bolt does? does it simply hold it down, or do you know if it has anything to do w the flywheal?

One question how did you take the belt off?

When you take off the bottom bolt off from the tension does it moes is sopppse to have any play in ???????

What do you do if that 8mm Allen tensioner bolt is stripped and recessed?
